How to choose the correct current for loads? For example, if the max current of your load device is 10A, then choose 10A/0.7=14.28A at least for resistive loads according to international standard. If the load device is motor or compressor, then you may choose 10A/0.5=20A according to real testing result since the motor and compressor starting current may be 2-3 times than nominal current. CON: 1: this is the main reason i gave it a low score. the wire connectors are so small. m8, m6 ring ends will not even come close to fit. they come with small end connectors but for the wire size you would need for the amps/watts it draws will not fit on wire. NOTE: 1: unit is 1/2 size of what appears on image. connector screws are way to close to each other. 2: May work fine but if i cannot fit the wire size and connector for the amps/watts it draws it is useless to use. i can see because of that some reviewers say it gets hot. i know now why. CONCLUSION: I wish i would have known about the issues with this unit prior to ordering. i would not order again. the manufacture should know that the connections should be spaced and sized to the correct wire size and allow people like me to fit wires that should be used.

Really impressed
Using this to step up my alternator voltage so I can charge my power supply in my camper. I've been using it for a couple months and it works great. Stands up to the vibration of driving and handles the rated power.

Seems good except annoying buzz noise
I was hoping this would be it. But the buzzing noise it puts off it really hard to tolerate. If it wasn't for putting this into a small van and wanting to have it somewhere that has some airflow. If it didn't make the buzzing noise I'd give it a 5 star.

Does what I wanted it to do
I used this product on my campervan conversion. I hooked it up to my ford transit CCP2 connector to charge up my bluetti ac200max using the alternator. this device converts the 12v coming from the alternator to 48 v. I then sent this to the PV input on the bluetti. I didnt figure out how to do this, just followed good instructions on the bluetti forum. This is not plug and play. Understand power, the dangers, take safety precautions, wire gauges, fuses and distances.

No issues with 16A constant load. The remperature reached about 140F/60C.

Der StepUp Wandler schafft ohne Probleme bis zu 630Watt, sollte aber gut gekühlt werden. In diesen Bereich arbeitet er mit 26V und ca. 23A. Mit Strombegrenzung macht er die 480Watt ohne sich nennenswert zu erhitzen. Laut Webseite vom Hersteller soll er auch parallel mit weiten StepUp diese Serie funktionieren, was ich aber bis dato nicht getestet habe. Der Wandler ist recht klein und kompakt, abet was er kann, ist 1A. Echt brauchbar für eine Solar- Nachteinspeisung im Inselbetrieb in Verbindung mit z.B Anker Solix oder anderen Wechselrichter mit 48V Einspeisung! Lieferung klappt wie gewohnt, rasch und pünktlich.
