Sessions IV

The fourth in an ongoing series of releases of end of concert improvised jams by the band. TD is a new band now with none of the original members on board but they remain true to the original in presenting new arrangements of classic TD material. Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Ulrich Schnauss where in the latest incarnation of the band with founder Edgar Froese until his untimely death in 2015. Since then they have carried on according to Edgar's wishes, we are told. These jams are a return in form in a way to what the Early TD did with shows that were largely if not completely improvised. They are well worth getting. I have them all so far.

As a tribute to Edgar Froese the musicians highlight the sound that was produced in the 1970’s but using all the modern technology available today. Having seen TD back in 1974, this CD brought back the image I remember from the concert I saw. Improvised magic.

Excellent service CD as described arrived promptly. Completed my recent Tangerine dream collection.
