I've purchased other brands of router bits from Amazon before, only to find that they aren't made to the same standards as Freud. Lesson learned, cry once, pay once. Don't try to save any money here by purchasing cheaper bits made in China. I've found them to be unbalanced and causing chatter on my projects. Wood isn't cheap.

This bit is the type of bit that helped me a lot in my woodworking. I bought it because it was cheaper than the Industrial grade bits I bought just to see what this was about and it's great. I will buy this bit again and again... If you do template work this is a must own bit. It will help with the massive tear out straight bits end up causing.

Only have used a few times thus far (more than a few, but he's than a lot), but it is working great. Doesn't appear to be dulling yet. Used on 3/4" plywood, 3/4" solid poplar, 3/4" solid soft maple. (Several times each).

I think I got a faulty one. I'm returning it to Freud under the warranty. The bit was cutting in to the side of the material, beneath the laminate being trimmed.
