This is a fine looking bathroom mirror. The light is actually pretty bright as a night light and is a beautiful accent to the mirror. The light is not sufficient to light up the room for normal use, but again, great for night use. I really like the features of having the date, time, and temperature when I need it first thing in the morning. The App was very easy to download and program. Just make sure you not to use the 5ghz router option. My router allowed me both settings so I had no problems at all. The installation was pretty easy as the mirror comes with a full size template. I just leveled, chose the right screw positions, drilled for an anchor and was ready to mount the mirror. You will probably need to use your own anchors for your type of wall. The mirror comes with a standard wall outlet plug, three prong plug. Since I did not want to have a cord trailing from behind my mirror, I had to have an electrical outlet installed. That required cutting into the drywall, running electrical wire and installing the outlet SIDEWAYS (otherwise the plug will bump out the mirror). It is a recess pretty much like a recessed mirror would be. The only improvement I would have wished for was an option to wire the mirror directly without a plug. But I won't take stars off for this because I knew it had a plug when I bought it.

My husband picked out this mirror for our bathroom remodel. It is so much better than it looks in pictures. We were already remodeling, so they installed a plug behind the mirror. I don't think it would look as nice if you couldn't install an outlet behind the mirror.Our contractor thought it would hang okay with the drywall anchors, but we added extra support anyway. The light behind the mirror is really nice and adds a nice glow to the bathroom when you don't feel like blaring light. I underestimated how much I would like having the time and temperature. My husband really likes being able to turn on the heat so that the mirror doesn't fog. This mirror can make even a small bathroom look modern.

First, overall I really like this mirror. It was a good size, good price and had features I liked and wanted. I am happy with it but there are a few items that could be improved as follows:1. It's listed as "dimmable" but that means you can switch between warm or cool LED light. The cool light is brighter, but neither are dimmable.2. The wall anchors that came with it are not adequate and I recommend using better ones. I used a metal anchor.3. I installed a recessed plug behind the mirror so you don't see the wire. The plug on the mirror is so bulky it stuck out even from the recessed area. I had to work around it and it would be much better to have a flat plug.4. The time/weather function (via WiFi Clock app) is a nice feature and was easy to set up. However, the inside temp/humidity sensor is on back right next to the LED light strip. Whenever the LED strip in on, the inside temp and humidity are incorrect by a lot (humidity 10-15% and temp 10 degrees). I contacted CS to no avail.5. It would be nice if the backlight had a timer or some way to schedule it so I don't have to manually turn it off and on. I thought about putting it on a dimmer switch but that would mess up the WiFi clock feature.

Absolutely love the look of the mirror. The light feature is a complete game-changer...it’s definitely the focal point of our newly-remodeled bathroom. I realize that an incorrect temperature read may be due to the anti-fog feature when it’s on, but it’s not a big deal. I accidentally left the ant-fog feature on, but I turned it off by pressing the power button for a few seconds...that fixed the interior temperature issue for the most part. I’ll own up to not remembering everything on the instructional pamphlet for not turning that feature off. Anyway, the interior temperature still goes up when either light is on, but that’s the least of my concerns. Customer service is a definite 5 stars because they replied to my email almost instantaneously to assist me...and to that I say “Thank you.”

There is no warm light and it's only in military time. I also think the weather was displayed backwards and I can't fix any of my problems 💔🐺🥀⛓️

Purchased in 2020. Worked great for several years. Suddenly stopped. Now it says, "err" with no option to turn it off without just flipping the circuit breaker and turning off the other lights in the bathroom. Electrician says he cannot fix it. Cannot get it off the wall without destroying the wall. I am told there have been software upgrades required to update it so it will work again. Can you help me, please?

Light doesn't turn on at all. Ordered the mirror a few months back for brand new home. Box was secured in a safe place since received. Home finally constructed and ready to move in and mirror doesmt turn on. Reached out to Byecold several times and silence!!!3/23/22 Update: reached out to Byecold directly instead of through Amazon. After a few emails and videos proving the device was not working, they shipped me a new one and it looks beautiful.

The mirror looks great. But I had to go around the back of the mirror and tighten all of the screws that old in the mounting bracket. 2 screws were stripped. The metal on the back is flimsy and noisy. The app has almost all 1 star reviews and after an hour of trying to connect the mirror I still haven’t been able to make it work. Try a different brand.
