Description says it comes with batts and charger, but answer and question section says it's just the batteries. Which is it? With charger or no charge

The product manual states to disconnect charger when batteries are charged. If it has a trickle charge mode you don't need to disconnect the charger. So, which is the truth? Does it have a trickle charge mode or not?, and if it has, why the manual say to disconnect the charger? Do you understand the question?

How long (approx) does it take to fully recharge a battery?

For me it’s been about 8 hours for the light to turn green on the charger.

does is this charger charge in sequence or actually charge all eight at the same time?

It will charge all at the same time but it is a very slow charger and the more batteries you charge at once makes it even slower.

Battery type? nimh? nicd?

this is a question I have not seen answered in the reviews and I would be skeptical of any claims. My review states they behave like cheap metal halides or NIMH batteries of old and I am doubting they have Cadmium but really it's anyone's guess exactly without an independent assay. These are not made in the usa or eu so there is no telling other than by the behavior which is they don't hold charge after removal from the dock.
