Having taken up Yoga again after many years, I thought a normal yoga mat would give enough support and for most postures it does. I noticed that my knees and wrists were getting sore after 30 minutes or more.I bought these mats hoping they would give me extra support and they do. Close to the same width of my mat, so you don't fall off, not too deep to alter your position. I keep them stored flat but you can also roll them up. They offer good value for money and are holding up well.

I use this doubled up at home and in the gym under my damaged knee. It provides excellent cushioning. It’s light, easy to fold up into my gym bag and a fun happy colour to boot.Liked it so much, I bought another.

Useful for knee and forearm support. If you need to carry in a sports bag it’s a little tricky to roll but that’s being very picky.

I purchased this to pop in my hospital bag ready for when baby arrives. My midwife recommended a small mat to protect my knees and this is perfect. I’ve kneeled on the mat whilst using my birthing ball and it’s nice and thick and does the job without slipping. Just what I needed!

This pad has changed my yoga classes it provides me with extra cushioning for my back & knees. A great yoga accessory

Update Dec 2023This is the best practical solution to prorext knees. I ended up going back to it as lughing a heavier bulkier mat was an inconvenience. Upgraded to 5* Buy This - highly recommend.This did the job of protecting my knees during exercise classes at the gym.It is easy to carry wrapped around a standard thickness mat.I ended up buying a thick mat instead tho and while it is very bulky and heavier that's my preference.So - if you don't want to lug around a big thick gym mat and want ease of carrying plus protection for your knees buy this pad. I recommend it over the individual knee pads - which I also tried- don't bother with those they are a nuiscance to adjust into the right place during classes, just get this pad instead.Recommend it for practicality

I bought this to use at my interval strength training classes. We do lots of push-ups, lunges and kneeling. I have a tendency to slam my knee down during lunges when I start to fatigue. This is so thick that I don’t even feel it. No more bruised or painful knees! And it’s so small and easy to carry to each station.

This mat allows me to do yoga and pilates with no pain at all even though I have bad knees. Perfect thickness, good quality. I was going to try one of the more expensive pads but thought I'd try this one instead and I'm glad I did. It's great.
