This is a good overall Dash Cam
I have been using this camera for the past two years almost to the day. I used it in my previous vehicle and now in my new one. It does everything that I need a dash cam to do. To this point it has performed without flaw. Excellent video capture both day and under low light conditions. Likewise the audio quality is very clear. Keep in mind that if one activates audio recording, EVERYTHING you say while it is running is captured. You have been warned. The menu is easy to navigate so that one can set it up to operate in their preferred manner. I use the RoadCam app on my phone, and while it is not perfect it performs sufficiently. The down side to the app is that it does not display the GPS data. If it can, I have not been able to figure out how to do it. This would be handy if one needed to show the speed and direction one was traveling. GPS data IS available by removing the SD card and viewing the video on a PC or laptop. For the price this is a good dash Cam, and when compared to the significantly more expensive cameras I feel like it does just as well. I recommend this dash cam to anyone who needs one and isn't wanting to spend a fortune.

Amazing quality
I bought my fist dash cam five Years ago. It’s not working recently. I can’t believe it lasts five years. So, I bought the same one, hopefully it keeps working in the next five years.

Looks like a great camera
Product looks very Sturdy. And high in quality. Gonna try it out the upcoming weeks/months and we we will see how it holds up. Update: I like the fact that this dash camera doesn’t have a battery In it. All the other dash cams I had in the past came with internal batteries and when the battery went bad the camera stopped functioning properly. And they don’t make it easy to replace the battery. Update 2: week and a half of use. I’ve been using the dash camera for about a week and a half (about 70 hours) so far. It’s worked great. I haven’t had any major issues. There was once when I unplugged the hardwire kit from the mini usb from the dash cam and the camera reset to original settings. Out of 3 times I’ve unplugged it it happened once. I noticed when the screensaver didn’t come on and the camera stayed on without turning off the screen. I I’ve also noticed that when the parking mode activates when I get in the car. And I turn on the car it has trouble turning on the infrared night mode when it’s night time. So I gotta turn on the car quickly before parking mode comes on. Another issue I had today was the camera started freezing as it was recording today it would get to about 1:36 and freeze and stop recording. I think this was caused by me taking out the sd card from the camera. I find it easier to view the videos from my iphone lightning cable to micro sd card reader. No matter what the camera wouldn’t work properly. I tried a bunch of things like formatting sd card and nothing. What fixed the issue is disconnecting it from the power completely by disconnecting mini usb from cam and it fixed the problem. It’s working like the first day I got it again. If you plan on getting this cam make sure you remove the power from it every now and then so it can reboot properly. Even personal computers, androids, and iPhones should be shut off and rebooted every now and then so they can work properly. Sometimes they slow down from being on to long. Update 3. Had to take away a ⭐️. I’ve been using this camera for a little over a month and it’s gone threw about 3 sd cards. Samsung Evo 256Gb Scandisk ultra 128gb Scandisk extreme 256gb. In my previous different old camera I had a Scandisk ultra 128gb and it lasted more then 2 years with 50-60 hours of continuous recording weekly. In this camera the sd cards work fine in the beginning but after about a week or so of use it starts freezing which means the sd card starts failing. Cause as soon as I put in a new sd card it works as it should. I’ve also emailed support about the issue I’m having and they stopped responding. They were responding so well before but as soon as the 30 day return window closed on Amazon they stopped responding. Maybe it’s a coincidence. Or maybe not. Im trying one more sd card. “Samsung pro endurance 256gb”. If this one fails as well I’m gonna give this camera 2 stars. And look into buying another dash cam. I bought my girlfriend a different front and rear dash cam and the first sd card I put in it 128gb worked good and never freezes with no problem. It seems like this camera is picky with the SD cards. I’ll keep you guys posted on how this Samsung Endurance pro 256gb sd card turns out.

Clear video, easy to use, zero issues
I thought the picture quality wouldn't be very good due to how awful it looks on the small built-in screen. However, reviewing the footage on my computer, it's two streams of crisp and clear 1080p! Only a month or so after I installed this dash cam, my car was totaled by another driver who rear-ended me at a stop light. The front cam clearly shows traffic in front of me / the red light, while the rear camera showed the other driver looking away to the side instead of the road (and my car) in front of him. The other driver had no dash cam. The other driver later reported the incident to his insurance as a different driver on a different date! However, once I told his insurance agent that I had the dual dashcam videos in 1080p + photos I took on my phone after the accident + the police report (which the other driver didn't send to his agent), they made everything straightforward and covered all of my expenses. Definitely a solid investment! The daytime rear/cabin video makes some gray and off-white colors look purple. However, the nighttime view looks fine, and the front camera is perfect in every way. I wouldn't even call this a "con"; it's just something to be aware of. Works perfectly with 32GB and 128GB SanDisk endurance SD cards.

Oh how I wanted to like it !
I had really hoped that I would like this dashcam. A friend suggested it and I loved the idea of the multiple cameras that could be turned around. But between the image quality and trying to stay connected to the app I just could not stand it. I even tried using a different make/model of phone, but couldn't stay connected for more than two minutes which isn't enough time to download video.

reformatting needed too often
This is a good little camera for the price. The picture quality is good, clear, and bright. Night vision could be a bit better quality, as the lights have that halo effect. I love that it date/times the video and I like the speed/gps feature (which at first I wasn't sure!) However, it would be really awesome if it also recorded the outside/inside temperatures!! The option of NOT looping is awesome, as I really like to go through and pick the scenic videos I want to keep, then can delete what I don't want. The features I'm not thrilled about are: since it doesn't have an internal battery; every single time I unplug the unit, or remove the sd card; I have to reprogram my features :( I'm also having trouble with the time switching up on me. I'm not sure why this happens. When I leave the unit plugged in and turn off /on the unit, the date will be correct; however the time ALWAYS has to be reprogrammed. This did not happen with the first sd card (samsung evo plus 128gb class 10/u3 microSDXC), it is happening with the 2nd card (samsung evo select 256gb v30/u3 microsd). It could be the card, but it would be nice if Purveeo would be VERY specific about the card that is compatible which won't change the programming. It's pretty annoying to try to remember to check the time EVERY time I start the car. Would be better if there were an internal battery that would hold the programming that we set. The other issue that I would like to see improved is the viewing space from 150º (which leaves blind areas to right/left) to 180º to cover side-approaching vehicles. Otherwise, you need two cameras to cover both sides of the car. The inside (rear viewing) camera has a different angle so cannot be used as front facing. (Also, if you switch the front/rear cameras they video upside down) However, I'm pleased with this camera for my needs.

Comes with suction-cup mount - Loop recording is ridiculously short
This camera has all the features of a much more expensive model. I’ll admit it’s not as polished and perhaps not as advanced, but it does a good job at capturing video, and the rest of the features are just gravy. The one thing that caught me off-guard is that the camera is bigger than I expected. I guess it’s because of the dual lenses, I just thought it’d be smaller. I made the mistake of reading all of the description on this camera, and I noticed that there was a note in bold letters about searching for and ordering a $5 item if you wanted to mount the camera with a suction-cup on your windshield. Well, I tried to be proactive and ordered the suction-cup at the same time I ordered my camera... Wouldn’t you know it! The camera already comes with a suction-cup mount as well as a bracket with double-sided mounting tape. Lesson? DON’T BUY THE ADDITIONAL SUCTION CUP. I like almost everything about this camera. These are my favorite things: • It doesn’t have a battery that would get damaged in a hot car (uses capacitors instead) • It begins recording as soon as the car is turned on • Can record sound, or not • Can record outside and inside, or just outside • It has a gravity/motion sensor that will automatically lock images/video in case of collision • Can be mounted on dash or windshield • Built-in WiFi to access images without removing SD card • Inside camera has built-in IR lights for recording in a dark interior • Each lens swivels independently to let you adjust your angles • Screen can turn off, but you can still tell it’s recording via a blinking red button There are other things to like about the camera, like the fact that most functions are accessible directly from the buttons without having to go through the menu. Like turning on the WiFi hotspot can be done by holding down the record button for a few seconds… Another button turns the IR LEDs on and off the same way. But here are the few things that need improvement: • The camera still uses the ancient miniUSB power port. These are harder and harder to find because devices moved to microUSB years ago, and now everything is migrating to type-C • The loop-recording option is just illogical. The menu options let you turn it off, or set the loop recording option to increments no larger than 3 minutes. However, I’ve found that turning it off makes the camera record in 15 minute increments. I don’t know if that means it will stop once the card is full (I hope not), but this needs to be addressed with an update ASAP. My last item is not really a knock; it’s more of a wish-list item. The only thing I wish this camera had that it doesn’t, is a GPS receiver. The cameras that do, record your direction, location, and speed along with your video, so that would just knock this thing out of the park, but I didn’t expect it to have one at this price.

Really Nice Dash Cam for the price.
I purchased this dashcam for my wife's Subaru Crosstrek. I was able to find a mirror mount that works great with this dashcam. Since the dashcam now comes with the suction cup mount, I just used part of that with the mirror mount and it works great. Here's the link to the mirror mount. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PPFT3HG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have another Pruveeo in my other car, and it has been working great for over a year. This dashcam is smaller, has IR lights for lighting up the cabin at night, and has a smaller form factor. It's mounted almost horizontally under the rear view mirror, so it's hardly noticeable at all. Controls take a bit of getting used to, but the instructions will help a little. I also purchased a USB A - Mini USB B cable and routed it up along the headliner, down along the A pillar, and behind the glove compartment for a clean install. The included cable is plenty long to route similarly. I really like the fact that the cameras tilt up and down, and also side to side! So if you use the suction cup mount up in the corner of your windshield, you can pivot the camera to get the best view both inside and outside. I'm using a 32GB card, and it seems to record about 3 days of commute of about an hour a day. Videos are on the card are separated into an "A" (front camera) and "B" (rear camera) file. For the price, this is a fantastic dashcam.
