Rosle Hand Guard Slicer Food Grip, Black

This product is a finger-saver, to say the least!! Wish I had purchased it years ago. I normally cut/slice all my veggies with a good ole sharp knife or a slicer. Well from time to time I've cut and sliced my fingers multiple times (way too many to count). So I decided to give this gem a try, and sure enough, it has been a GEM! I have nicked, cut, or sliced any of my fingers since. So it's been a great small investment :)

I bought this to use with my Kyocera ceramic mandoline slicer to replace the very annoying hand guard that came with it. The Kyocera was never in alignment and caused plastic bits to get sliced into my food. This Rosele one is wide enough to extend edge to edge to prevent plastic slicing, plus the plastic is much harder and less likely to chip or be sliced. It also is very low profile, so you are left with only a very thin remaining piece to slice with a knife instead of a huge annoying chunk.

I was looking for was a gadget to hold food in place while I grated the food instead of my finger. This hand guard did not hold carrots or cheese until they were so small and then it was still difficult to keep the food attached to the hand guard. Did not work for me, will try to return.

This thing is fantastic. I ordered a few more and put them in storage. Love it for thin things.

I use this and it saves my fingertips when I slice vegetables.

I bought this thinking it was flexible and would enable me to use my mandoline without slicing my fingers. It is hard and inflexible and the tiny prongs do not in any way hold or whatever vegetable I am trying to slice. Completely useless, don't bother to buy this. Others have recommended the kitchen gloves perhaps that is the way to go.

Love my new Rosle Coarse Grater that is VERY sharp. The Food Grip/Hand Guard is almost a necessity. It works very smoothly with the grater.

Got this as I found the food grip that came with my mandolin was too fussy. It’s great and allows me to get in a quick groove. Great for keeping hands and fingertips safe
