This biltong is equally as good at the biltong I reviewed previously. Different taste, but just as nice. Same quality of presentation and packaging, and very few 'bits' in the bottom of the bags. If it wasn't for the difference in taste, I would think this biltong was produced by the same manufacturer as my previous review. Excellent and delicious biltong, and ideal if you want a low carb, high protein, low fat tasty snack.

Happy to buy smaller packets so you don't land up eating them all in one go They stay fresher for longer than way

Absolutely fantastic product. I have diabetes (26yrs) and wanted a accasional snack that didn't make my diabetes worse. This product did all that.Would recommend 100%. Only down side HARD TO SWALLOW.

Hi I normally don’t do Reviews. But this Jerky is Awesomely Epic and has a Tender Feel and Taste. I have a Big Problem With YEAST and this is Yeast free. it’s very tough and chewy, full of tendons. The texture is like chewing rubber.

This used to be the best biltong out there in my opinion, really tender and deliciously spiced. However it has recently changed completely, the texture is more gelatinous and the flavour is disgusting. I had it on subscribe and save and after the first bite of my latest subscription I had to spit it out and will probably end up throwing the rest away. Really disappointing.

I can’t eat other brands after having this, it’s a regular order for me, so good. Also, as a snack, keeps you full for a good while.

Best (packed, not fresh) biltong I’ve ever tried. The only one that can beat this is the freshly made authentic biltong. To be a packed, long shelf life version, this is the best. I miss the spicy version though!!!!!!! PLEASE BRING THAT BACK!!

Ich vergleiche hier vier verschiedene Marken Biltong miteinander. Die Preise sind für Bestellung über Amazon im Juli 2019, wurden gerundet, und können sich natürlich ändern. Den Marktführer Jack Links habe ich bewusst aus gelassen, denn der ist mir zu überwürzt und man kann ihn auch in fast jedem Supermarkt kaufen. Kandidat 1: Paleo, Preis pro Gramm 16 Cent. Verkauft als 120g Paket (4x30). Das Biltong von Paleo ist das mit Abstand teuerste. Es kommt von österreichischen Weiderindern. Die Verpackung zertifiziert Bio Haltung aus der EU. Von der Konsistenz ist dieses Produkt das trockenste, es fasert richtig beim Essen. Geschmacklich ist es sehr flach gewürzt worden. + Bio Produkt + am natürlichsten - Preis - unterwürzt Kandidat 2: Beefit, Preis pro Gramm 5 Cent. Verkauft als 350g Paket (10x35). Beefit schmeckt sehr lecker, man möchte die Tüte am liebsten gar nicht mehr weg legen. Allerdings macht mich das etwas stutzig, denn es könnten Geschmacksverstärker im Spiel sein. Ich bin aber kein Lebensmittelchemiker, ist nur eine Vermutung weil es eben so intensiv schmeckt. + Preis + toll gewürzt... - ...was aber auch das Qualitätsempfinden verzerren kann Kandidat 3: The Curators, Preis pro Gramm 8 Cent. Verkauft als 360g Paket (12x30). Die Gewürzmischung von The Curators empfinde ich persönlich als sehr angenehm. Sie schmeckt hauptsächlich nach Pfeffer und hinterlässt eine gewisse Schärfe im Mund (aber nicht zu viel). + schmeckt am besten Kandidat 4: Ember, Preis pro Gramm 9 Cent. Verkauft als 280g Paket (10x28). Ember schmeckt ein wenig kurios. Am Anfang der Tüten war ich jeweils etwas enttäuscht weil das Fleisch sehr fad zu schmecken schien, aber der Geschmack entfaltet sich dann später beim Essen. Auf jeden Fall ein Erlebnis, nur hadere ich ein wenig mit diesem Produkt weil es mir weniger gut schmeckt als die anderen drei. - ist nicht ganz so lecker + aber immer noch besser als Jack Links Bei der Konsistenz des Fleisches muss ich sagen Ember, Curators und Beefit sind quasi identisch. Die meisten Scheiben sich dünn und eher zart so wie es sein sollte. Ab und zu mischt sich auch mal ein härter Brocken dazu. Bei Ember hatte ich einmal ein sehr dunkles Stück, das seltsam geschmeckt hat - aber nur in einer Tüte. Ich denke alle drei haben hohe Qualitätsstandards und schenken sich quasi nichts. Einzig Paleo ist komplett anders, viel trockener, dicker und faseriger. Das kann man lieber mögen oder auch nicht. Auf geht es zur Siegerehrung: 1. Platz Curators 2. Platz Beefit 3. Platz Paleo 4. Platz Ember ABER sie sind ALLE Sieger! Alle bis auf Jack Links, das leider bereits in der Qualifikation ausgeschieden ist. :)

- das Fleisch is länglich und dünn geschnitten - die Qualität des Fleisches ist sehr gut, es ist sehr fein und weich - das Fleisch schmeckt etwas "blutig", das ist mir bei anderen Marken nicht so aufgefallen - die Würze ist angenehm, nicht zu mild, klassische Biltong Würzung bekannt von zB Beefit und ember - Es bleibt nur sehr wenig Rest in der Tüte übrig Ich kann dieses Produkt weiterempfehlen. Hier stimmt alles. Die Portionsbeutel halten einen zwar davon ab, mehr zu essen aber für Vielabnehmer ist es zuviel Verpackung.

Sehr gutes biltong. Geschmacklich besser als das von Ember.
