Great pair of headphones and ones you should buy
So I have had these headphones for a little over 2 years. I have thrown them onto my bed where they have hit my headboard, I've dropped them, crushed them, and ripped the top part to them to where the foam is exposed. I say this to show that even though they have been through alot with me using them almost every single day, they have not once dropped in audio quality, and comfortability. I use my consoles to watch TV so I plug in my headphones to either my Xbox or Playstation controller depending on which im using so I use them almost everyday and not once has it ever dropped in audio quality. The volume control on it is awesome because I dont have to go into the settings and turn up or down the volume if its too loud or too quiet and I can just turn the volume wheel on the side to turn it up or down so it makes controlling the audio really easy on everything I've used with these headphones. They fit me pretty well, I've had no problems with them fitting me at all which is really nice because I wont lose out on the audio quality these headphones have just because they dont fit over my ears all the way. For the mic part of it, I cant really say much about it because I do have a separate mic for my pc so I've only used the mic that comes with the headphones maybe 5 times since I've had them but what I can say is that from what I've used of the mic, everyone I talked to with it didnt have any problems with how it sounded, atleast to my knowledge. I did a few audio tests when I first got it and I remember that the mic quality was alot better than the other 2 headphones I had before I got these. I am writing this review because when I was trying to find headphones for the first time, I ended up buying 2 other pairs of headphones that said they were great but ended up being anything but. The first pair I got stopped having audio come out of it on the right side and that was after I think 9 months of having them and then the second pair I had gotten ended up snapping because they wouldn't fit over my ears unless they were fully extended and they ended up snapping within 4 months of having them. After that last pair broke, I had to look for another pair of headphones from a different seller and I found these thinking that they probably won't last a year because there are always different reviews with people saying they are great and other people saying they are the worst pair of headphones ever so I bought them thinking that I might end up having to buy a new pair of headphones soon after I get these but I never had to because these headphones are amazing from my experience with them. Im not saying these headphones will end up being great for everyone because some people could end up getting a faulty pair of them and others could get an amazing pair of them like I did, but I just wanted to share my experience with these headphones so hopefully, if anyone is looking for a pair of headphones, they can find my review on them and use the review to decide if they are gonna get these headphones or not. Hopefully this review is helpful to anyone looking for a pair of headphones.

After 5 years...
I'm a huge fan of EKSA. I first purchased one of their headsets back in 2021. The customer service is excellent. Now, in terms of this specific headset, the 7.1 soundbase is phenomenal. The mic is high-quality, and the comfort level is fantastic. They are durable, lightweight, and versatile for different environments. They are great headphones for the price! Highly recommend these headphones, as well as EKSA as a brand!

A good pair of headphones, but not for bassheads
These are good pairs of headphones, but they're not great, at least in my opinion. Before buying these headphones I read reviews saying the bass was good, but there were also reviews saying the bass was not good. I am here to say that as a hardcore basshead, these do not have good bass. It's there, don't get me wrong, but they don't have the thump or tremble that bassheads are looking for. If you don't really care for bass all that much though, these headphones are probably for you! Vocals in music sound great and there is a lot of clarity there. Instrumental music sounds well in these headphones too. Regardless of the lackluster bass, the 7.1 surround sound system works excellent. I can noticeably hear where footsteps are coming from and which direction they are from when gaming. The 7.1 surround sound does need software in order to work and apparently the 7.1 surround sound doesn't work on mac. In terms of build quality, it's good everywhere except for where the hinges are. I feel like they could snap with not much force. They move side to side and you can adjust the angle of them to make the earcup sit more flush on your ear, but the sacrifice of that adjustability is long term durability. I'm glad I purchased the ASURION accident protection plan with these headphones. But yes, other than the hinges, the build quality on these headphones is good. The leather on the headphones is soft and feels very high quality. Plastics don't feel overly cheap and there is metal construction where the band connects to the earcups. EDIT: As of 5/14/2025 and after almost 2 years of having these headphones, I have to say that the long term durability has surpassed my expectations. The hinges have not fallen apart on me like they have on some other headsets I've had. Some wear and tear on the leather, but nothing serious. The leather is seriously soft, so that's probably one reason they've ripped. Other than that, everything still works and the audio sounds good as new.

Don't Buy These They Break In 30 Days (Happened Twice in a Row)
As an avid gamer for both PlayStation and PC, I do not recommend these headphones. I am very careful with my belongings and have had several sets of headphones over the years work for long periods of times. I found myself displeased with the software associated with the headphones I had been using and stumbled upon these while searching on Amazon. They were a great price and had decent reviews, so I picked them up. They worked really well for the first couple of weeks, were comfortable to wear, good sound quality, decent mic, etc... But on day 32, naturally 2 days after the return window they stopped working. The right headset no longer had any sound and the microphone stopped working. I had no visible wire kinks, no outward damage, nothing. They had never even left my desk. SO I reached out to their customer support, they were really great. Walked me through a few possible fixes, nothing worked. I even tried buying a new chord for it at Walmart, they were just busted. No idea why. I sent over the serial number and everything and the company sent me a new set of headphones. Great, I really appreciated it. Well, here I am again, just about a month, maybe less to me honest, after receiving my replacement headset and guess what stopped working? The entire headset. Nothing works. Completely out of the blue. I was in the middle of a game with my friends and the entire headset just gave up. Neither earmuff, no mic, nothing. I have no idea what is wrong with these things or if me quietly sitting here at my desk playing Minecraft after work with my friends is just too strenuous, but I am irritated. I withheld my bad review before thinking it was likely a problem with the particular pair I got, but twice now? Last a month and just simply stop working? This brand clearly has some quality control issues and if you like having headphones longer than 30 days, I recommend buying elsewhere. This being said, I have tried several other brands and NEVER had a headset last less than 2 years minimum before giving me issues. Do not buy these, they genuinely are not worth the hassle.

Great set of headphones at a low price for the quality!
I’ve had these for 5 1/2 months now and I can firmly say these are great headphones. I went into the search just wanting something fairly basic to use with my PS5 controller, and though there is some connection issue with the headphone jack on my controller, these are overall great. I got a second PS5 control for my gf and the headphones connect just fine and it stays connected even with movement so I think it was just an issue with the original controller and not the headphones. Just thought I’d mention it! Anyways, these are great! I’m no audiophile but the sound quality is so much better than I was expecting. It’s no Bose but it absolutely gets the job done. I love how noise isolating they are, not noise canceling but I do feel like I can put these on and not really hear any of what’s going on around me which is great since I have ADHD and can get distracted or annoyed with sounds easily. But it’s not so strong that I couldn’t hear if someone shouted for me. I bought these expecting to only really use them for gaming but I’m basically using them every day at work to play music or videos in the background and they’re REALLY comfy. I can wear them all day throughout work, and then put them back on to play a game and I don’t get a headache. I avoided headphones for so long because I wear glasses and other headphones pushed them into my temples but these somehow don’t do that and I LOVE it. The material on the cups is so soft and pliable but still nice and snug. I’m not sure what else to say because I just love these and I was so pleasantly surprised by them. If you’re on a budget and just want a go to pair of headphones, these are amazing.

Not the quality other reviews claim
I bought these based on great reviews and had high expectations. I compared them with two other headsets (the popular Tao Tronics wireless/noise canceling/bluetooth and the Xiberia V22 Gaming Headset). I returned these... here's why. - Sound quality was subpar. What sounded generally acceptable at first turned into a surprise when I compared these to the other two headsets in a side by side comparison. (I used the Tao Tronics in a wired config, not via bluetooth, to be fair). The Xiberia V22 was considerably better than the Tao Tronic (with better balance of bass) and this Eksa landed at the bottom of the list. I listened to the same music and podcast records and after hearing the other two, it was easy to notice how thin and hollow the Eksa sounded. The bass was lacking compared to the other two, and in the end the hollow vocals became irritating. - Mic quality was way too low. I made the same type of recording of my voice and compared this to the Xiberia V22. The Eksa recorded at a very low volume, the Xiberia didn't. The difference was significant. I asked my daughter to listen to each recording, and she said I didn't sound "like me" using the Eksa. On the positive side, I really found these comfortable and felt they were constructed well, using metal instead of plastic. When I unboxed them, I felt I had the winner in my hands already as they felt solid and inspired a sense of quality. I really wanted these to win my tests, so I downloaded the recommended Windows software and drivers and retested. I could boost the mic input volume with the software, but even at max boost it was still lower volume than the Xiberia without any mic boost. The software options for sound settings didn't get rid of the thinness of the vocals, and the bass just wasn't there compared to the others. I reluctantly concluded these were the worst audio quality of the three and I couldn't fix it with software. I do understand these are not $100 headphones. Yes, they do produce sound and the mic barely picks up enough of your voice only if using the recommended software to boost the input to the MAX, but considering I was trialing this and the Xiberia V22 (I already owned the Tao Tronics) and the Xiberia was far superior in both sound and mic quality, I returned these and kept the Xiberia. The Xiberia do have more plastic and are fit a bit more snugly on my head than these, but they are still comfortable and cost even less than the Eksa did (although cost did not factor into my conclusion or decision to return). So while I understand the may positive reviews stating they are good "for the price" I came to a different conclusion, as the less costly headphones sounded superior by a huge margin. Ultimately, I would prefer the comfort and build quality of these with the sound/mic quality of the Xiberia V22.
