After 25 years of use, the four florescent lights in my kitchen were taking way too much time to go on. Replacing the four foot, single bulb fixtures cost more than I was willing to spend, so the alternative was to replace the ballasts and this one does the job. Replacing the ballast was relatively easy as they attached exactly the same as the old ones and the wiring was "half" successful. The only problem I encountered was the blue wires to the end socket were too short by about a foot so I had to splice them to the old wires from the socket. I used some small wire nuts. The hot and neutral feed wires and the red pair to the far end socket were the appropriate lengths, although you could consider using wire nut splices there as well. When I turned the lights on and they all came on in a second, I smiled.

Perfect fit replacement for the small 2 foot light under my cabinets in the kitchen. The wiring pattern was different than the 17 year old Robertson ballast I was replacing. Just followed the wiring diagram on the new ballast and everything works fine.

Worked like a charm. Wires were long enough to fit in even a large fixture. ZERO noise and starts right up. Saved me $20 over the other option and installation was much simpler than replacing the entire fixture.

Used it to replace a cheap ballast in a desk lamp. This is a quality product.

These are fast starting and very quiet. I replaced 4 GE ballasts with these. They were slow starting and very noisy.

The big box and hardware stores I checked only had magnetic starters for single 20watt fluorescent bulbs. Delivery was as promised, instructions were adequate, and it provided instant start without the annoying hum you get from magnetic starters.

Thsi device worked well for my application. No issues with installation and it worked great for my task light repair.
