Best printing ink
You cannot go wrong with speedball ink. It’s thick, easy to roll on printing blocks. It’s dries to the touch within 30 minutes. Easy use for beginners.

Speedball is reliable
Basic set of water-based block printing inks. The red and blue are very saturated primary colors, but there is a lot of white in the yellow so its more of a butter color rather than a primary yellow. Either way, works well for my purposes. Smaller tubes, so they don't last super long, but great to play around with. Speedball is my go-to brand, especially for water-based inks (there is more clean-up required with oil-based inks). I also have a roller from Speedball that has lasted me more than 2 years. Good stuff!

Good but need a lot of ink
Maybe its because I'm not experienced with screen printing, but it took more ink than I expected for my project (I put it on some paper). so squeeze a "generous" amount. easy to wash off too. one gripe i did have (could just be my inexperience of course) is when i mixed red and then blue, then a little more blue, it just kinda turned to black. i did use it on colored construction paper though, so maybe it effected how the colors looked later. great basic ink for screen printing.

Various colors
I am a beginner in lino cut stamps. I used the yellow and the red ink. The yellow has a little black sharpie showing through. My bad. But I like the consistency of the ink.

Inks were easy to use as well as just the right amount I needed for my classroom printing activities!

Defective tubes
Somethings going on at the factory…the crimped edges of the tubes aren’t fully sealed. I’m in a print making class, and a tube exploded on a fellow student last week, and today it happened to me. She bought hers at a local art supply company, so it’s not some problem with Amazon’s stock.
