Not bad to put together and strong

It is black metal. I saw silver in the picture but this is still good. I was wary of other reviews with missing screws and I thought I was missing mine also and thought about going to the store for some, but the bag with the screws and bolts were so small it fell out when I took out the big pieces and I didn't realize the tiny bag with screws were out of the box. I'm telling you I thought there were no screws. The bag of screws should be taped onto the metal because It is so tiny. Overall a good product and works well.

Only time this is fully Sturdy is when is not retracted at all. Once retracted fully, it looses the agility to hold much of anything. I've had mine for a while though, doesn't rust easy and I use it for my plants that are pretty light so its worth its money I would say!

This shelf is absolute crap. Sure, the width is adjustable, but they conveniently drape a towel over the shelf in the photo so you don’t see that one side slides over the top of the other, leaving an ugly half-inch drop-off somewhere in the middle of the shelf. I ordered a black shelf, which came with bright silver hardware (which is visible when assembled), which looks tacky, and the black finish was already rubbed off and pealing in several spots when I took it out of the packaging. And finally, I t’s very poorly machined, so trying to attach the scrollwork to the frame with the tiny screws was impossible. Don’t waste your time or money on this. So disappointed!

If You have a one handle faucet that lifts up, this will probably not work for you because your Fossett will hit it and will not be able to be extended all the way. My Fossett height, when it is turned on and Extended is 9.5 inches. I only gave it three stars because I had to return it because it was not compatible with my sink.

I already had an old wooden over-the-sink shelf rack. I bought one of these and I attached it on top of my old wooden one. I realized it didn't interfere with my view. Then I got the Idea of getting another one just like this expandable self and attached it to the 2nd wire self. Now when I don't have things stacked or hanging on them I can still easily see out my kitchen sink window.Then I soon realized that they make a WONDERFUL DISH STRAINER and I no longer need to use my elec big Dish Washer anymore. Now as I wash dishes by hand and rinse them I just drain the dishes on these over-the-sink shelf racks that I have stacked and secured over my sink in front of my kitchen window. I live in AZ and my dishes dry quickly. It is easier to unload my dishes off these over-the-sink shelf racks then loading and unloading my dishwasher.I just thought I would share how I have stacked and use these over-the-sink shelf racks as a dish drainer drying rack. If anyone does decide to do the same, besides securing them together (I used black ties) I also had to secure the bottom wooden over-the-sink shelf rack on the bottom with black duck gorilla tape to keep it from falling over because one time I accidentally dumped the whole rack over and a few dishes got broke. Now that things are secure these attached over-the-sink shelf racks are beautiful to look it whether they have dishes on them or not and I can still see out my window with or without dishes drying on them. They are practical and very useful as a dish rack dryer drainer.

The shelf is exactly as pictured and I love it!

So sad to get an item where pieces just fell off when we took it out the box. The box was not damaged do its a issue with the quality. We made it work by using some spare parts but still disappointed after spending $30 on a plant stand. Im just glad all of the plants were needed it for where very small and dont weigh a lot. The stand is pretty long and it is a pretty design. Please consider checking these items before shipping them broken.

When I received the package it was damaged. Then I opened it to see if everything was there. The little bolts and nuts to set it up were not there. Therefore I can't set it up unless I go purchase the hardware. I am not impressed.
