Formerly Deer Off? Works great!
I used Deer Off for years and it worked great. Then suddenly it was no longer available anywhere. It just disappeared! It looks like maybe they were bought by or merged with the makers of this Safer brand? So I decided to try it since the liquid fence stuff has never worked for me. Been spraying Safer on my rose bushes for 2 summers now and the deer won't touch the roses once I start spraying. (I spray every couple of weeks, depending on how much it rains.) So this stuff works well plus it doesn't smell nearly as bad as Deer Off did (not as pungent). I'm on my third bottle and definitely recommend it.

Great but more like reapply ever 1 to 2 months
I greatly appreciate the convenience of this product & that it does last through rain. I have been using it for close to 2 years now & have never gotten 3 months out of one application. If it doesn't rain too much usually it will continue repelling for just under 2 months. If it's been a very rainy time I may only get one month. However that's a lot better than my previous experience with granular products that wore off with every rain. It does stink while applying but afterwards I do not notice the scent. I do not let my cat out the day I apply it but it does not affect him as he frolics through my garden afterwards. I mostly use it for my bulbs & tomato plants.

Not to Be Used Around Edible Plants
I didn't see the small print. It said not to let the mist drift onto edible plants. I bought this to use on my loquat tree, for squirrels. I love loquats, but they don't leave me any. At all. So I sprayed with a rat/mouse deterrent before I got this, and it seemed to help, but I just sprayed this all over the big loquat tree that is loaded in unripe loquats before I saw the warning. I read the ingredients to see what it had in it, and it has rotten eggs in it and "other ingredients." It would help to know what the "other ingredients" are. But I can see why they put this warning for people allergic to eggs and the possibility of salmonella, I guess. I don't know. The warning should be in bold on the label, as I read one woman was using it on her tomato plants. The smell isn't bad, just strange. The packing wasn't adequate, as it only came in a plastic bag, and it had leaked in the bag. It was quite the mess. Because of that, the "peel for more info" thing was destroyed and unreadable. The odor from the label as I tried to peel it back after it dried reminded me of cat or dog urine. Maybe that is part of the "other ingredient" thing. I'm just sorry I can't eat the loquats now. Maybe if the spray can be applied to strips of rags and tied to the tree, that would work better, because the spray, even on "stream" blows everywhere even in a very slight breeze.

It works and doesn't have a bad smell for human noses.
I was a bit leery to order this because I needed to spray the new plants in a large native plant pollinator garden that is close to the neighbor's deck and hot tub. I was worried that they might be able to smell it, but that isn't the case. Even when I was lightly spraying the plants the odor was not strong. I also have 25 foil pinwheels in the garden and the combination of the spray and pinwheels seems to be doing the trick to keep our sweet bunny friends from munching.

It doesn't work.
I'll add this to the stockpile of items I've bought to try to deter chipmunks and woodchucks. It doesn't work and once again, everything has been eaten. In another review for yet another product, I mentioned how hard my cats are working to control chipmunks, but they're tired. And out comes the humane trap so I can once again institute my Woodchuck Relocation Program, but it's too late for this summer. Oh well.

Works!
Deer attack our shrubs and flowers. So far they haven't attacked our lilies. Time will tell this summer.

Not really worked
This product did not keep the deer away. You can see where the deer munched off the tops of the hostas the day after after I sprayed. The one leaf the chemical touched died.
