UPDATED REVIEW: One of the two I originally received failed after a weeks use(the second has been fine). I left a review reflecting my experience and left it at that, thinking the hassle of getting something so relatively inexpensive returned or replaced just wasn't worth the hassle. AZDelivery saw my review and contacted me directly and after a really pleasant exchange with their customer service sent me two more of these probes free of charge. Original Review: Got these to use in a compost temperature monitor, the 3m cable allowing me to keep my esp8266 safely inside my workshop and giving more than ample length to easily poke in my probe that I've assembled. Unfortunately the one I've used has died after just one weeks use, with the ESPhome log showing 'no device found'. I will have to redo it with the second DS18B20(I got the two pack) but I'm not filled with confidence about the product. Shame as I usually like this sellers products.

Sense temperature as described and seller provided plenty of documentation in electronic format. Minor complaint: the packaging was flimsy and arrived a bit battered but devices OK.

I am currently using these temperature probes to monitor and log 10 separate areas of an online Solar Pool Heater project, where these remain submerged in the pool water. When all probes are together in one place they all report the exact same temperature, which is ideal for my projects. These are directly connected to an Arduino Nano with a 4.7kohm resistor in parallel with the Power and signal pins. Highly recommended. Dev255

Want to check on outdoor or other temperatures? Then with a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino micro computer the answer can be easilly found. My checks show a fair accuracy of the temp readings for my shed and also the garage.
