Each box contains 12 individually sterilized foil packs of sutures and one instruction sheet. The suture is sterilized with Ethylene Oxide (EO) gas and has a shelf life of 3 years from the manufacturing date. UNIFY® PGCL, is a monofilament synthetic absorbable surgical suture. It is generally used for soft tissue approximation and ligation. It is used frequently for subcuticular dermis closures of the face. It has less of a tendency to exit through the skin after it breaks down. It is contraindicated for use in cardiovascular and neurologic tissues, and for usage in ophthalmic and microsurgery.
