Twist and Turnables Wooden Building Block Learning Set

We are happy with the Hape brand. Their toys are well made, and our twenty month old really enjoys playing with them. This toy is no different, yet is more challenging in that it is based on an acquired skill. Twisting completely in one direction rather than twisting back and forth takes some time to learn. But that is what is great about this toy- it encourages learning this new skill. The pieces are smooth and beautifully painted, and they provide a nice combination of shapes and colors. The size is good too, just right for little hands to hold on to.

These are excellent quality and very durable. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-made they are. They’re definitely not like the cheap plastic toys you see everywhere. My two-year-old doesn’t fully understand how to use them yet, but I’m glad we have them for practice.

Many people have said that some of them don’t twist easily but I think it’s intentional so there r different levels of strength required. Nice size, no choking hazard, bright colors, easy to wipe the outside and super cute

Got this for our toddler to play with. All the pieces were there, and the quality is good. The size was not too big or too small. Unfortunately, this is not a toy our toddler wanted to come back to. Once he figured it out he moved into the next thing. I would recommend for multiple children or in an educational/therapeutic setting, but you're not going to get much use out of these with one kiddo. Still a good product to work on fine motor milestones!

These have been great for my babies/toddlers. They can use them to practice matching and then as they age can use it to improve their dexterity since it isn’t an easy function to screw something on/off.

Well it’s marketed for 24 month old babies and yet tell me why my 36 yo hands can’t even twist these apart. I had to have my husband do it. These really need to be twisted repeatedly to wear down the wood so it can easily screw together. It is NOT suitable for 24month olds imo. More for for 5 plus. I’m debating on returning them if I can’t wear them down. Only one is easy to screw together for my little one so that’s the only reason why I might keep it.

These are a great learning toy. I bought these for my newly turned 2 year old daughter. They kept her attention for 15-20 minutes at a time. I bought them for a recent plane trip. She could twist them off but had trouble getting them started to put them back together. They were small enough to keep in her backpack along with multiple other toys. I would definitely buy these again.

Love these toys. I do not mind buying toys made in China, but I know several people do. I didn't appreciate how the label was placed, almost carefully, to conceal the Made in China markings. Hape, be proud and clear in the choices you make, else don't make them.

Good quality. As advertised.

Good to keep your toddler busy for sometime.

J'aime beaucoup ce jouet conçu pour les 1/3 ans. Le jouet est de bonne taille, aisée pour les petites mains. Le principe de vissage/dévissage est assez facile et les formes sont ludiques si bien que les enfants y reviennent souvent. Les formes vont 2 par 2 mais il est possible de les combiner à d'autres formes. Jouet de bonne qualité générale, très attrayant. Parfait dans une mise en place Montessori pour les plus petits. Je recommande.

Ho acquistato questo gioco per il mio nipotino di 18 mesi. Lo ritengo un buon acquisto perché il materiale sembra buono, ben rifinito con colori che non macchiano e i vari componenti sono abbastanza grandi che non possono essere ingoiati. Questo gioco è utile per far esercitare i bambini alla rotazione del polso e far comprendere loro il concetto di avvitare e svitare. Il mio nipotino svita benissimo ma ha difficoltà a tenere allineati i pezzi nella fase di avvitamento. Con calma ci riuscirà. Lo consiglio.
