While I haven't tried more expensive versions of this tool, some costing more than 3x as much, I have to imagine that it works nearly identical. We use this when hanging vinyl wall murals and it helps speed up installation as well as keeping the alignment more accurate than when using just masking tape.

Slices backing paper on vinyl and wrap material well, replaceable blades also work well and it's a good alternative to the $80-$200 official sign tools

tested and used on the job, works great. Slit out a peal-a-way strip for easy mounting. Also, have the single cut, both have extra Teflon tabs in case of damage.

I was hesitant to buy just because of some of the reviews said it had through the vinyl. So far its working the way it should. I think its worth it for the price.

It's a specialized tool that I used to cut a strip of backing off of vinyl film. It arrived undamaged and well packaged. It worked great for the most part and I really like that it came with extra blades and pads. It did get caught and rip occasionally if I wasn't careful with keeping it level but that was my fault. I like the double blade version for my application but a single blade version could have worked as well, just more work. I was happy with it.

Makes sizing wrap enjoyable. Really like the dual foot/knife for application. Not super sharp, but it does the job.

I hoped this would work to help install vinyl faster but all it did was tear the backing up which made the job take ten times longer
