very easy to assemble and get started. easy to clean quite heavy to lift from the water to the pool side but I found that using a hook made that easy Altogether, value for money and very easy to operate

Brilliant. Saves me so much time. Easy to use & clean when finished. Cleans pool really well. Don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner.

A reasonably priced robot cleaner that cleans the wall as well the floor of a medium size pool efficiently and, so far for me at least, reliably. The more or less budget price means you don't get a programmable controller; the machine has to be switched on manually, (it switches off automatically at the end of a run cycle). So be prepared to have to switch the machine on well before you want a swim. The filter is efficient at retaining the debris it vacuums up but cleaning the filter bag is fiddly and isn’t as easy as cleaning the filter cassettes fitted to more expensive models but it’s got a large capacity so you won’t have to do it too often. Being a Dolphin, spare parts seem relatively widely available here in theUK which hasn't been my experience with other manufacturers. All in all, a good machine for the price from a well-known manufacturer but if you want more bells and whistles and easier maintenance you may need to consider moving up the range and spending a bit more.

1. It is not possible for it to operate effectively in a pool of 50’/15m. The cable is 50’/15m, however, what is not mentioned is that at least 3.5m of that cable is required to be used to connect the cleaner to the power unit. In our case the closest power supply is 5m away, from an end of the pool i.e. not at the centre. The cleaner then needs to descend into the pool (ours is 1.5m). In effect should a pool owner have a power supply at the 3.5m (most unlikely) and a pool 1.5m deep, then effective usage would be restricted to a 10m pool unless the power supply was 3.5m from the centre of the pool., even more unlikely. 2. Please note the instructions state: “do not use an extension cable in any case whatsoever”. 3. It also states to “place the power supply where there is a strong Wi-Fi signal”. So, no strong signal, then no working robot. These are fundamental issues and the first surely could well be a in breach of the Trade Descriptions Act (in the U.K.). The marketing states: "Ideal for In-Ground Pools up to 50 FT in Length". which is clearly NOT the case. No details of the vendor are supplied with the delivery. We tried to contact the Vendor through Amazon - no response. We contacted and complained to Amazon and although they acknowledged the issues raised, their customer services have not further responded. Any marketing of this product should clearly state: 1. That the operational limit of the product is 50’ (15m) from the POWER SUPPLY (without use of an extension cable, which is prohibited). 2. The Power Supply must be AT LEAST 12’ (3.5m) from the pool side. 3. The cleaner will NOT operate without a strong WiFi signal. 4. The name, address and contact details of the vendor.

Be very careful buying his robot. It is a good robot but mine broke down before the end of the warranty period and it was at that point I discovered the warranty isn’t valid in the UK for this model (only valid in the US). So have a £1500 robot with a broken motor and no way to fix it and guess what, the seller won’t reply to emails after selling it described as having a 2 year warranty… and Amazon say they can’t help either… buyer beware…

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE IN THE UK. Purchased Dolphin Nautilus Pool Vacuum Cleaner and after less than 1 year of use the blue power cable started to erode. I contacted the company through Amazon to be told that as the pool cleaner is a US model, the warranty was invalid once it left the US. Nowhere in any description does it say this in fact the description states "The Nautilus Plus with CleverClean is also backed with a 24 month warranty leaving you worry free". The pool cleaner is now unsafe to use and a complete waste of money.

Unfortunately, my unit did not pick up the dirt in my pool. I've owned a Dolphin previously and it was great. Not sure if the unit was faulty as the supplier Chakra were awful to deal with and withheld £450 from my refund. They said the unit had been used as I said to them I had to use it to find out it didn't work! Amazon’s A to Z refund ensured I received a full refund.

I have to say I couldn't be more mad at myself. The fact that I have gone without a vacuum for so long when I could have been swimming in crystal clear water everyday is such a crime! When we first purchased our very own IRL Money Pit, we were in love with the pool. Boy were we wearing our rose colored sunglasses! This pool was possessed and had a hunger for money. After we retrieved over 200 bags of leaves from the belly of the beast we bought a top of the line Dolphin vacuum. Picture any seaside surf shop style pullover nylon jacket of the 80's and that was the color of our 1,700 dollar pool vacuum. More than a number of my vehicles! It worked. It was cumbersome to clean out but it was the early 2000's and we were young first time pool owners. Cut to years later and the vacuum dies, we aren't living the DINK lifestyle anymore. We thought we could eek through to the next time we had a service come out to check the water and clean it. This year had been the worst. From cottonwood trees to an abundance of whirlygigs, the countless leaves and the ultimate, a F2 tornado blew into our yard taking 80 hickories with in and deposited quite a serving to our voracious pool. Hours with the hot sun baking me more and more I broke down on Prime Day and got this midrange vacuum. I was fearful that I would be bringing a never able to be fully dried cumbersome shaped vacuum to the back of Kohl's to be returned but to my SHOCK. This Dolphin is a powerhouse! Up and down the walls with ease. The pool is a 20 x 20 x 20 with roman corners and a 10 foot deep end. Not one time did it get stuck. No missed spots or problem areas. It was showcasing all the best qualities. Ease of cleaning, you betcha! The dual containment filters come in and out with no effort at all. Rinse all the ultra fine to bulky debris out with your hose and you're ready to run again. With a heavy load, it cleared the bottom and sides nearly with only 3 cycles. The 4th one is running as I type. OH...(yep, the GenX ellipsis) you can even control it on an app. I was able to get it set up but still working on the WIFI perspective. A tornado side effect. I am blown away! I am not a sponsored review or benefiting in any way. Just an honest, down to Earth, rambling review. Very good does what it says

I ordered the pool cleaner and it arrived less than a week from the order date which was ahead of schedule. I waited about 30 days before I decided to write a review. I have owned several other pool cleaners that were less expensive models from other manufacturers and this one is by far the best. It works exactly as advertised. I have a 16‘ x 32‘ irregular shaped saltwater inground pool, I simply drop it in the pool, set it for a two hour cleaning cycle, and let it do its job. This dolphin does climb the walls and has yet to get stuck anywhere in my pool while the other cleaners that I owned couldn’t make it over my main drain. My pool is always clean after one cycle. I always let the robot sit in the pool for about 10 minutes after it stops to cool down, then I remove it and clean it as well as the filters immediately. I love how easily the filters come out of the unit and can be taken apart and cleaned. I have learned from other pool cleaners that you never let these sit in saltwater or chlorine all day long as it will degrade the parts and the motor. My dolphin is stored in a box in the yard that is watertight and I store the controller inside my home to keep it dry at all times. I would highly recommend this pool cleaner to anyone that is looking to not pay a pool company to come weekly. I will write another review at the end of August once I’ve had this for three months. Ok this is my second check in 1 year later. I have to say that this is the best pool cleaner that I have ever owned and I highly recommend it for everyone. I will check in one last time at the end of the summer which is after my second season of using this robot. My third review on 8/14/2021 over 2 years from when I purchased it. The Robot is in perfect condition still. It looks just about the same as the day it arrived and still cleans my pool as advertised. I'm extremely pleased with this Dolphin pool cleaner and when this one finally does die. I will surely buy another similar type robot from them. 3rd review almost 3 years later. The robot is still working perfectly. The transformer blew out, I called Maytronics and about six weeks later they sent me a new one. I’m sure the delay was supply chain related. It was still under warranty. 4th review. I just turned on the pool robot after storing it for the winter. It’s now 2023 so this is my fourth season with it. So far so good.
