STRONG BUT HEAVY
So I bought this bike for my girlfriend who wanted her own singlespeed. She has put about 1000 miles on it now in the last year and so far it has been super dependable. I'm getting ready to change the chain on it and that's all the maint. done so far. Someone had mentioned the tires were cheap, these have lasted and look brand new. I must divulge the fact that she stands 4'11" and is light. That may be the reason the tires have lasted. I have posted a few pictures because I have modified the bike and want to make that clear so if you were going to keep the bike as is, this will not be a good review for you. I added drop bars with new brake handles, kept the original brakes themselves just new cables to reach. New Brooks leather saddle, platform pedals and a new stem. We have several bikes, but this is her go to bike for just messing around on the greenways or open road riding on flatter terrain. All in all, I would recommend this bike for a beginner as well as a more seasoned rider who wants a solid foundation to build a steel framed singlespeeder. The bike had a few small blemishes when arrived but nothing that would raise an eyebrow, mostly around the chain stays. The workmanship of the welds is fair, I believe they have been ground down before painting. After a year of good riding there is no sign of stress cracks or failure in the frame and don't expect them. The pink is very vibrant and has not faded, and again, I will add the fact that this may not fit your standards for a review because we never leave our bikes out in the elements, so I can't say how a similar bike would look if left outside all the time. I would buy this bike again. The only down fall is the weight. Like they say, steel is real. And she is real. There's a formula for bikes, light, strong, cheap. You can have two of them, but never all three. If it's light and strong, it won't be cheap. So on and so forth. Anyhow buy this bike, get out there and tear up the roads with it. She can handle it.

Regret purchase
I like the design and the light weight of the bike. However, I had to bring the bike to my local bicycle shop.It costs me $50 extra. Why?Because in the box, it does not contain the screws, for the front and rear wheel, to connect to the frame.Plus, the metal tube attached to the seat was crooked, so it couldn’t fit into the hole of the frame. And last, NO Manual assembled in the box. I called the 800 phone number from the company (acquired from google search) for help but only received answering message that lead to nowhere.I am so happy when I made the purchase and seeing on the box the bike Made in USA from California.Yet, the above difficulties made me wonder what happen to quality of things that made here! How can we compete in the world?

Great bike for the price... The bike was not assembled at all when I took it out the box. Although there are no instructions, setting up the fixie is pretty self explanatory. But if you have trouble you can always search the internet for how-to videos.

Not worth it.
I am 6'4, 190lbs. This item did not come with any instructions, I put it all together with online help, yet still have issue with breaks not being aligned thus it doesn't slow the bike. The second issue with this bike is the chain is clicking whenever I pedal, which makes the pedals jerk, doesn't seem so safe. For $250 you can buy a pre-assembled bike which would be better than this.

Cheap Beginner Bike
This is my first bike. I think it is ok for now even though the cross bar could be wider... I had to replace the grips, the original grips were garbage. I think eventually I will have to replace the cross bar too.

Poor instructions for assembly, looks and feels like used frame and parts
2 stars mainly for the quality of parts and frame, as well as limited instructions for assembly. The instructions were confusing and often had the wrong Allen Key requirements for required parts of the bike. No instructions were provided on installing the front brake too, I needed to use youtube assembly of another bike to get the idea. The box arrived quite damaged, and the tires had gunk all over them. I've had chain/drivetrain issues on my first few rides as well. More thorough assembly instructions would serve all customers better.

Worth the money
Very light bike for the price I love the color details they put into evry bike, the logos are nice and clean with sharp images. The tires are 100xbetter than the 1s you find out in the stores and again this is very light I'd say under 100 pounds
