Remember when families and friends actually played board games, and card games? Instead of a living room with no conversation, just a bunch of people tapping and swiping their phones? Which is weird, considering how much I played it when I was younger. Even as a young adult. But just like riding a bike, you never really lose it. But any kid 4-6 can most likely grasp the basic rules, as long as they can recognize numbers. The catch is that it may not hold the attention of a five year old all that great. But there's a way that you can still put the UNO cards to good use, while enjoying some bonding time with your little ones. Here's what I figured out, after a couple of games of UNO with our Little Girl.... Make it a memory game. What I did was go through the cards, and picked out two identical ones for different numbers/colors. So two green 5 cards. Two red 4 cards. Two blue 2 cards. Two yellow 7 cards. I tried to avoid sixes and nines. Basically take eight to twelve cards in total. Then place them in two to three rows, face down (UNO side up). I'd ask our Daughter to flip a card over. Yellow 7. Okay, now try to find the other Yellow 7. And she gets to flip over another card. If it's not the right one, I let her know that was a really good try. Now let's flip the cards over, and try it again. If she gets it right, I congratulate her, and she gets so excited. This way, she can play a simple game that also helps her work on her memory skills. So she can remember where certain cards were, and match them up. When she does well with six cards, I bump it up to eight cards. Then ten cards. It's simple, but fun for the smaller kids that may lose interest in actually playing UNO. And she still gets to have fun with the rest of us. There are no negatives about this set. The only thing that could have possibly been improved, is to have made the tin a tiny bit more travel-friendly. The two stacks of cards are held in plastic, inside of the tin. But it seems like they could have simply made the tin much smaller, and still fit the cards in. Making it a bit easier to just stick in your pocket. That's not a dealbreaker, just thinking out loud. Otherwise, the quality of the cards and tin are both great. Look. It's ten bucks. That's it. People spend more than that on two iced coffees, or a drive-through at a fast food place. But those are things you only get to enjoy once. Whereas you could use these cards in this tin for well over a decade. Plus you can make it a family tradition, or have fun when friends come over. It's advertised as a kid's game. But truth be told, we played it more in our dorm's game room than I ever did as a child. UNO never gets old. Why put it off? Add it to your shopping cart. Great Uno set. Regular UNO cards in a tin. That is what sold me on the product. I love the tin case because it allows travel and storage of the game while also providing durability. Our favorite games the boxes are all falling apart and held together with duct tape and whatnot. We won't have that issue with this UNO game.

Uno has quickly become a favorite in our household! My kids love playing it and get so excited every time we pull it out. It’s simple to learn, fun for the whole family, and always brings lots of laughs. Durable cards and easy to store. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly game!

My family loves to play Uno. The issue we have is that we never have a good storage system for the cards. We used sandwich baggies for the most part and I just don’t like that so I bought this because it has a tin for the cards! Keep the cards nice and it’s easy to travel with. We often take this travel storage Uno with us when we go out to eat at restaurants so we have something to play with while we wait for food. The card inside are like regular Uno cards. The thickness is perfect. The cards are very easy to read. The colors are vivid. Of course, Uno is just a great game to play with your family. My six-year-old son loves to play it. He thinks it’s so funny when he gives us a draw two!

Our family loves UNO!! Kids are 11, 9 and 8 and we have spent hours playing this game since we got it :) I love the tin it comes in- convenient for great storage. Adults have just as much fun as the kids! Highly recommend.

Played this constantly with my kids. Got for daughter age5 and she was too young but played with my kids with za 9 year age gap and was the only game that could equally include them all. A family favorite! Very easy to learn, pace is appropriate for all playing ages , no reading really needed-and the pace is good for all ages. I loved playing as an adult with children also!

I got the tin case edition, case is sturdier and not prone to tears as opposed to the cardboard version. The cards themselves seem to be decent quality but I did notice them bending ever so slightly after a couple of games and shuffles. I also noticed that the cards have shapes on them corresponding to their colors. Maybe for people who are colorblind? I’m not entirely sure but that’s a neat addition. It’s fun to play with family and friends and you can’t go wrong adding this to your game night. Good price. Easy to play. The cards have bright colors and shapes with good outlines.

UNO is a staple card game in my household. Colours are vibrant. The cards are a good size for both adults and kids which makes shuffling easier and the case is solid so storage is a breeze.

A smaller tin would be much more practical for travelling. But otherwise, great to find the original Uno game available, with the colourblind marking addition to the cards. V Happy. Thanks.
