I’m 54 years old and I’ve been a journeyman taper for 36 years. These are the best knives I have ever owned. The corners are straight and they don’t fold like the Warner knives do. They’re balanced well and they’re pretty tough. The big back taping knives , great tools. The six inch stainless come in 8 and 10 too. I really dig these knives.

My husband loves the sturdy handle and he thinks the stainless steel blade will be great for doing tight edges perfectly (he’s a perfectionist). Other blades he has are too thick to do certain jobs so he’s glad this one is a thin blade but still strong steel so it won’t bend and won’t rust.Customer service are also wonderful upstanding honorable people. Pleased all around.

Beautiful made, steel keeps a nice edge and it is made straight and protected well when it shipped. No pre bent curvature. Would be nice if the glue was A differnt composition for the sticker, some people like to carry more mud in their knives.

So the item arrived bent on one corner. I should have sent it back immediately. I tried to correct the corner, but probably will never get the usage from this tool I planned on getting.

I bought this as a shield when painting. It did nothing to do too well. It is a very sturdy and well build tool though.

Great 16in knife. Pre-beveled. On the stiff side. Great for knock down and skimming.

Used it for skim coating it worked great. would probably want to use a hawk with it I used a 14 inch mud pan. I had specific job for it .
