The Outdoor Connection Talon 1" Swivel Set, Stainless Steel

They match my stainless steel Marlin really well. Feel well built however they could be fully rounded where the pin attaches to the swivel stud. The stud on the buttstock of my particular rifle was a little too deep. When I attached the swivel swing it would have gouged the stock if I would have moved it off of 90 degrees. Ran the stud on my rifle out half a turn and it was fixed. Not a big issue with the product, just something to watch out for when you're installing.

After searching several sites I finally came across what I feel are the best slings I could have bought. These are all stainless steel, no plastic parts. Very good tension on the springs so no accidental opening. About 1/8 inch thick and 3/16 inch wide on the loop, so it would take a hammer to get these bent out of shape. I paid a little more, $14 for 2 slings but they are worth it.

These are really nice swivels, fit well and are easy to remove. They are made in China so they get four stars for that reason.

Very sturdy construction, good materials and a simple design. These should last a very long time. In the product literature it says they will not touch the stock. Mine do, and I don't see how they could avoid that and still be fully functional. Anyway, they're a lot better than another brand I tried -- plastic closures and rusty, squeaky metal are not helpful!

Cool looking sling loops "military style" seem well built and heavy steel we will see !

Great functioning stainless steel sling swivels. Why these were so hard to find I don't know. I would much prefer solid stainless steel rather than a plated material. These sling swivels function perfectly and I highly recommend them.

Still not used in the field but it is totally non-magnetic, full stainless. even with stainless steel spring inside. Feels very robust. I'm a happy camper.
