This was the best value - per serving - of the multi-box packages offered.Plus: great packaging and prompt deliveryMinus: It would be nice to know the expiration date of the packages prior to committing to the purchase. This is a good product for those that find Quaker Oatmeal to slimey. It has some texture to it and being plain, you can add any flavor you want to it.

McCann's Maple and Brown Sugar instant oatmeal is a tasty and convenient product for instant oatmeal lovers. My husband eats two packets of this a day and I'm delighted that it is available through subscribe and save.Before trying this brand, my husband was ambivalent about eating oatmeal, even though he knew it was a healthier alternative to some other breakfast choices. Now, he is addicted to this flavor and finds the McCann's to be superior to the other brands available at the supermarket. I notice that it is nicely packaged in heavy coated individual paper bags as opposed to the thin paper bags used by some other instant oatmeal brands. Perhaps this helps keep it fresher and tastier. I'm just glad that he found an oatmeal product that he really enjoys :)

The regular are the best but this one is not bad. The long cooking takes too long to cook and I don't have the time in the AM.

Years ago Quaker had something called Hearty Oatmeal, made for the microwave. It was the closest thing to stovetop, long cooked oatmeal, great flavor and hearty texture. I searched for a long time for a replacement and luckily found McCann's Because I prefer to dress up my own oatmeal, I prefer the plain...and I have to admit I'm not crazy about some of their pre-packaged flavors, which are what is available locally. Amazon to the rescue! This oatmeal is hearty, has great texture and flavor and stands up to lots of add-ins. I think it's best made with milk and, at least in my microwave, heating it for 1.50 minutes on high is perfect.

Do not waste your time eating this mush. Steel cut oats are the ONLY way to enjoy oatmeal. Mcanns steel cut are excellent

This product is pricier than the instant oatmeal products available in markets, but it is worth every penny. Comparethe labels. It is tastier than other instant oatmeal products. My son must be at his workplace at 7am so time isan issue. Having McCann's on hand makes all the difference. His job is very phisical and he doesn't have that10::00 let down. He puts raisins in his but it goes well with dried cranberries, dried apricot and evenFresh strawberries, as well as blueberries. I order ours from the Internet as it not available in my localmarket. This oatmeal is made from stoneground Irish oats.

First tried this oatmeal while staying at my sister-in-law's house and just loved it. It costs a bit more but is worth it, especially as I eat oatmeal almost every morning. Has a great texture and taste and is very filling. I only eat one packet each morning. Just try and once and you will never eat another brand again!
