Anchor Hocking Batter Bowl, 2 Quart Glass Mixing Bowl with Blue Lid

This bowl is super. It is deep enough to scramble eggs without splattering. It has also been great for mix muffins and other batters. And it also works with a strainer. And the lid allows you to keep the items in the fridge until ready to use in a recipe. I like it so much that I bought another one as a gift.

I really like that this is glass - I can make and leave things in it without worrying about chemicals in plastic bowls leaching into it. Having the handle is great - it makes it easy to pour in general and it's nice if I ever have any hot liquids in it. I also really like that it has a lid for it - I can easily throw it in the fridge overnight, or leave it on the counter depending on what's in it and have it covered tightly. I also like the measurements on the side - it makes measuring things much easier. It's pretty durable - I think I got lucky, but it was pushed off my counter (which is average height) onto a hard floor and it didn't break. I certainly won't be trying to drop it again any time soon, but overall I feel like this is a great bowl. I'd recommend it.

My husband wanted a larger glass measuring cup for storing the hummingbird food that he makes. This is perfect for his needs. It is good, sturdy glass and the lid fits quite securely making an air tight seal. Even the handle is perfect size. The only thing I would advise is to pack it a little better with more than just wrapping in bubble wrap. A sliver of glass was chipped on the bottom of the bowl. Fortunately, it was minor and doesn't leak so it isn't an issue for us. We highly recommend this bowl.

Good, clean and a winner over plastic. The only downside is that it is HEAVY.

Really like this bowl, its a nice size for mixing. You can put the lid on thats included and store right in the fridge. Very happy with this purchase!

The bowl is very heavy - think sturdy - much heavier than we thought it would be. It has a nice sturdy handle, but there is a raised ridge along the entirity of the inside of the handle. This makes it difficult and painful to hold, even when empty. It is well made, but the handle should have been smoothed to make it more comfortable to hold. The cover fits snug, which is nice, but the measurements can be difficult to read at times. If you're looking for a strong, large measuring bowl, look no further!

I use this every day. It's sturdy and awesome. The best part is the tight fitting lid. It has been dropped a few times and it's still as new as the day I got it.

Love most things Anchor Hocking makes. This bowl is perfect for left overs that stain (Chilli, spaghetti sauce) I hate white lids they never stay white! Trying to get rid of plastics in our kitchen. So, we do not use the lid in the microwave and since it’s not touching our food it works for me... I wish they would make a silicone lid. Hint hint AH if you seeing this! The glass is nice and thick; lid is thicker than some manufactures. This purchase was to replace the pampered chef 2 quart bc the lid was super thin and cracked on me even though we hand washed it. Love the pour spout and the measurements. Handy kitchen tool with multiple uses. Made in China fyi.

Lo compre pensando en un bowl de vidrio donde pudiera batir o mezclar masa y poder refrigerar de ser necesario o dejar reposar y que tuviera tapanya que la mayoria no tienen. Lo uso muy muy seguido y es excelente el material y tamaño para las porciones que necesito. La tapa cierra muy bien y es muy practico tener esa opcion. Trae graduacion en las paredes. Lo he usado solamente en refrigerador y microondas pero creo que tmb tiene la Posibilidad de usarse en horno (solo lo de vidrio).

Je l'adore . Il est de bonne grandeur pour l'usage que je fais avec ( pâte de gâteau , crêpes, ect . J'ai vu des commentaires que eu il était pas satisfait mais moi je suis très satisfaite et le couvercle est de très bonne qualité et facile à enlever. Je la recommande pour eux qui existent.
