Attached the lights (adhesive is ok so far) and only one port on the white box works. We tried both led strips into the functioning port and the strips work so it’s the port at fault. What is working is bright, colorful, responsive and putting a smile on my child’s face. Even with the messed up lights, she’s excited. I have contacted the seller and hope to just receive a new white port instead of having to take down and return all the lights. Will update rating if/when I hear from them! UPDATE: I reached out to the seller, received a response the next day of an idea to troubleshoot that unfortunately didn't fix the problem. The seller immediately responded again. Received a replacement from the seller within a couple of days - checked the connectors right away and they both work! I'm changing to 5 stars because the lights really are cool AND the problem was quickly fixed by the seller.

This is the second box of these I've purchased, and I love them. The first set I bought I put under the countertop edge on my kitchen island and it's absolutely perfect for lighting the kitchen enough at night to sneak in without having to turn on the lights. I keep it on the purple color so it's not too bright. My son loved them so much he asked me to buy another set for his bedroom. He mounted his around his TV and on the wall behind his TV. I don't know how good that is for his eyes, but he loves it. They can be very bright or fairly subdued, depending on the color you choose. There are many colors to choose from. The remote is easy to use and the lights are VERY easy to put up. You simply peel away the wax-type paper backing as you go along applying it to the wall or whatever surface you are putting it on (TV, countertop, etc.). I found it easy to fold it to make square corners and it doesn't come loose at the corners where the fold is. Just make a square corner and pinch together the triangle piece sticking up and it works just fine. You don't notice the corner fold when the lights are on. It was also easy to reposition, as I lightly tapped the strip down as I went along, and then if I was going crooked I could lift it back up and try again. Only when I had it just as I wanted it did I press it down hard, and so far nothing has come loose. I've had the ones on the underside of my kitchen island counter for over a month, and they don't interfere with the cabinets nor has the tape come loose. The one thing I don't like is that you get two strips of lights, but they both connect to the power source at the same small connector, so you can't put the two strips of lights very far apart. They have to originate from the same place. I think I read about others splicing or something, but I'm not that technical. You just have to plan ahead when you are deciding how to place them so that you start both tapes fairly close to your plug-in. The power cord and AC adapter have nice long cords, so that is a plus - you can get at least 3-5 feet away from your plug-in before you get to the adapter the lights plug in to. I think the lights are great and if I find another opportunity to use them somewhere, I would buy more. Especially of this brand. I may have to measure and check out the length I need before I buy, but so far it's worked great.

This is by far the best Amazon product I've ever purchased and no I am not hired by amazon to say this. it has adjustable brightness and several different shades to work with I used it to light up my mice's cage for night time and I will say it came out exactly the way I wanted it to, I'm really surprised at the quality as well. note: if the lights don't turn on then you must've put the connectors backward try flipping the cord over and make sure the battery in the remote isn't backward. I accidentally made the same mistake but it turned on after I flipped the cord to the other side.

I love having color changing lights in my apartment that I can change depending on the mood, holiday or season. It brightens up my day and really gives the place a more fancy look. The lights were nice and long that I was able to place them all the way around my TV, along the back of my record player shelf and along the back of my husbands gaming desk. It looks great! My big complaint is that the remote only works if you are literally inches from it, so I have to go stand over by it to turn it off and on. I can’t do it from my couch. I would also love if we could choose 2-3 colors to display at a time rather than just one color or circulating many colors. I wanted green and red for Christmas but I had to settle for one or the other.

These LED lights were a great addition to my bedroom as there isn't a main light source other than a small lamp I have. The lights are amazing and easy to install; able to light up my whole room, but I noticed something with the light strip. As I was installing them I noticed a little tear at the beginning of one of the led rolls. I didn't think much of it at the time but after setting them up the same led strip wouldn't work even tho I had connected it to the... receiver? the little white box. I had to finagle it into the socket so it can turn on, but even when the full thing was on, the beginning lights were fine; they synced up with the other roll of led's, but the rest of them were slightly off. I've already ordered a led strip to power connector in order to salvage the rest of the roll, but all in all a great buy.

0 Complaints, these LEDS have literally lasted me two years in my room so far. They have lasted so long that I actually have to take them down soon because it's time to repaint my room again. Unfortunately they cannot be reused (not really I guess) since they are stuck on the wall but this is expected. I use these frequently and it is amazing they have not shown any signs of falling off the wall or losing power. I also love that you can use an app to control these lights, and it works very well. If it isn't working, ensure bluetooth is on, close app, and reopen and it will work.

very good for price. worked very well at first, but after 4-5 months some colors started malfunctioning

the spacing between the LEDs are terrible - the remote is pretty bad too, you have to be really close to use it. brightness was meh

Gorgeous lights, but the connection between the two strips isn’t stable, so we can only use half. :(
