Review on product
Great quality made filter. Only issue is that the seal is not in a plastic pouch. it is just loosen in the box. The box came pretty beat up I got to believe it may cause a quality issue but overall great product we'll see down the road.

Decent quality and price
You would think that you would pay less for a bare naked oil filter with no can or backflow valves, right? Why are they usually north of twelve bucks, then? My ventures into finding cheap filters for my Jetta led me to filters that crush when you tighten the housing down because they're too long, filters with barely enough paper media to go around the outside, and tough as nails o-rings that start leaking between oil changes. These filters (I stocked up on them) were the right price and super quality.

Good filter
Exact fit, comes with the replacement O ring. My vehicle has over 118K, been using this filter for a while. No problems.

Didn't fit my 2009 Touareg VR6.
Looks well made and like a good value if it fits your engine, however it did not fit my car "(2009 Touareg T2). it would not "click" into the filter housing and thus I could not use them, and had to buy another brand from a local auto-parts store.

Perfect For My Touareg 4.2
Excellent Product. I used a few different makes (Mann/Bosch/Mahle/Hengst) so far in my 2004 Touareg 4.2 V8. My personal impression is that while all filters were quality products and did the job well, this K&N filter shows superior manufacturing quality for example where the paper filter element is fabricated into the plastic ends. That said, it also surprises me that this is the cheapest of them all.... Bought a few to put aside for future oil changes.
