Pretty Good Glue Gun. Happy With My Purchase
I just got this yesterday. I tried it out last night. I did not experience the leaking issue that others reported. Just a tiny leak that I wiped with a paper towel and it stopped leaking. The small leakage was no worse than any normal hot glue gun. The mod melts were a little slow dispensing than I expected. I did like the results I received.

Okay for large projects.
Takes a bit to get used to. You have to hold it a certain way.

I was pretty excited about this Mod Podge glue gun
I love the Mod Podge brand, so this product got me pretty excited. I love the design and the fact that it's from Mod Podge. However, I was disappointed in the fact that it wastes so much glue. It drips out pretty badly, making large puddles of hot glue that could have been used for my projects. It gets very hot and the on/off button gives you control without having to unplug and plug it in. It heats up fast, so there's no waiting. For projects where you are using it constantly every two to five seconds, it's great, but if your project requires more time between uses, a lot of glue will be wasted.

Love these glue guns.
I have about a dozen of them, all dedicated to one color of glue stick. I use them all the time in my art, and am very pleased with how everything looks when cooled and painted. I hope Plaid continues to make these and the glue sticks for a long time.

Very hard to use.
I spent quite a bit of money for this melter. I had also purchased the patterned sea life mold. I made several of the molds and they just didn't come out precisely. Also beware of using on surfaces other than glass. Ruined craft matt and cutting board.

At first i couldnt get the glue to come out but after the second glue stick it worked just fine. I think the trick is you let the first glue stick melt completely and use the second glue stick to help thrust it out as you push the handle.

didn't work for me, suspect defective design
Purchased these Mod Melts with the Mod Melter, thinking that would be better than trying to use them in my glue gun--I assumed the 2 were designed to work best together. However, I thought I received a defective melter at first--I could not get the melts to actually melt. I looked through the entire packaging, and the brief instructions had been followed exactly as they are written, but I still could NOT get the sticks to melt unless I forcibly pushed the melt into the melter ... and then the melt came out in little bursts, full of bubbles and slightly discolored, like the melt was getting burned. So I requested a return, and got a replacement right away (no complaints whatsoever about the customer service), but the second melter ended up having the same problems. Not sure if the problem was with the melter (which is what I suspect--defective design, since I tried 2 melters with the same result) or with the melts, but neither worked for me. Sent both back for full refund (customer service was fantastic).

I'm addicted to the whole Mod Podge line. I do arts and crafts projects with a friend's 5 year old on the weekends occasionally, and these are amazingly versatile! She loves doing projects with them. This glue gun is much easier for her to use as well!

Foreign Plug, Poor Quality, Over Priced
Very disappointing, especially seen that it is a mod podge brand. You would expect it to be the best gun tool out there, especially with that price.First of all, it absolutely STINKS when using the molds, its almost like the gun gets too hot..The product isn't of high standards, the quality is rather "cheap"I had to change the plug, to a three pin plug (think it was an American plug that came with it.Another thing, the glue drips... A LOTThe original glue guns are much easier to use, cheaper and of better quality.
