they aren't thin and can handle a beating. had a liquid in it for about 2 hours and it didn't go through the bottom.

These multipurpose bowls work fine for me and Mr Kitty while en route - in the van, camping, hotel rooms, etc. Thick enough to reuse (depending on the contents) the sufficient thickness and larger capacity mean I don't need to stock paper plates. So this s product esems a much better value, simplifies storage, and the quality has remained consistent, order after order. After some snacks, it's easy enough to wipe one clean and reuse.

Great when you don't have time to do the dishes.
