Living Between Two Worlds

I could essentially write the identical review for ALL (of which I have read ALL and many multiple times) of Joel's books. And this is the most important point I would make: Do NOT read these books for knowledge or doctrine or teachings. Do NOT try to fit each concept and each pronouncement into your present belief system. Simply read each and every book all the way through, eating the fish and spitting out the bones (in other words, enjoy the spiritual revelations you receive while reading and put any "hard sayings" or disagreements you have with the author's words on the back burner for now). At some point in your reading, you will experience a shift in consciousness (or enlightenment, or salvation or whatever you want to label it). You will experience a paradigm shift in spirituality.

Once again, Joel Goldsmith offers the understanding and application of moving from the material world into the world of spiritual beingness. He encourages complete surrender to a higher power of love that dwells in us. In addition, he suggests gratitude as a readiness sign for growth that is more spiritual. We change our consciousness from limiting beliefs to the unlimited world of God Consciousness.Spiritual discernments reveal that which is, so you can move from a personal sense to a new focus of a resurrection into the presence of God. In your new state of grace, you bring light to others. No longer are you separated from your spiritual spring, but move into the oneness that brings fulfillment. It is a choice to grow into Christ consciousness, which is your birthright. This opens the door to your supply, abundance, and a successful healing in the Omniscience, Omnipotence, and Omnipresence that brings harmony and heaven on earth is revealed.

Succinctly and with clarity Joel lays bare the dilemma of living between two worlds. One being real the other not we wander through life one foot on solid ground the other on shifting sands not understanding why we are going in circles.The Voice from beyond calls to us with certainty unknown in this "world", inviting us to lay down the sword of judgement and invite the Christ in each of us to enter into wholeness.Step by step we are guided by God's love to overlook what we tried to make true so we can see beyond it to what is true.

I have read several dozen Joel Goldsmith books and this one, I think from his last talks, was the best.

This book deals with the heart of Christianity. We live in this world but we are not supposed to of this world. Joel really encourages one to get our consciousness into the realm of Christ. I was again in maximum repentance mode when the concepts in this work of Joel revealed just how much of my life strategy was designed to keep one foot in this world and another foot in the Kingdom. The premise of this book really pushes you to make a decision concerning that strategy. Two scriptures come to mind as I write this review one concerning a double minded man and the other is concerning the luke-warm condition of our hearts. This is a life changing read.

good for people on the spiritual path

I also have Joel Goldsmith's German version of this (his) book. Joel G. is one of my favorite spiritual teachers (authors)and I have several of his books which I look for advice every other day for the last 12 years ever since my shift in consciousness in 2000 by covering up my mirrors and disidentifying from my non-existing reversed mirror image. It took me years to function again in 'this world of time/material sense'. Joel's book helps me tremendously to live between the two worlds (world of the mind = illusion/doing/world of Being) and yes, to see the Universe both from Within and from Without. It is truly a great contribution for the spiritual awakening of humanity...

Have worked in the field of "consciousness" and personal growth for 45 years. This is one of the best books written by Joel - or most other spiritual teachers for that matter. He was a man with deep PERSONAL experience of the truth of his own BEING; not just another author rehashing popular concepts. Joel was one of the few "healers" of our age. Had the privilege of meeting several of his closest students and family members. I was told that not a day went by where there was not at least 3 "healings" by lunchtime - before he ever left his house. (Phone calls - telegrams - letters). Great book.

A must have book if looking for mystical knowledge.Definitely recommend it

I just must read something everyday from Joel Goldsmith. Like water and food, cannot go without it!
