I got this for my wife since she doesn't want her delicate clothes anywhere near my clothes (cotton ftw!). I didn't know about Yamazaki before but dang if this isn't solid. The frame is solid metal and powder coated so it feels like it's going to outlast civilization. The bag is cloth and feels solid as well. You can fold it and use the top bars as handles and then set up wherever. Since we got this, we've been getting some other products from them. Seems a lot of the products they sell are steel and just as solid. Such a great thing to see in an age when everyone is shipping plastic and cheap products that don't last too long. Definitely recommended!

I love it. It's a little pricey- but it holds up and I love that it's easy to pick up and carry to our laundry room. It also fits the aesthetic of my home.

Very sturdy, well made, and minimalistic. Very functional—I can carry this into the laundry room and then collapse it when not in use. Purchased 2 of these (one for darks and one for lights) since I knew they aren’t big, but perfect for my tiny apartment. I am able to carry this with a full load of laundry from room to room for my 5’4” frame. The fabric portion is removable for cleaning/maintenance (I haven’t attempted this yet). There are a few scratches during transport/delivery but it’s not a deal breaker for me. The fabric used in the basket is very sturdy and somewhat thick. I wasn’t sure how breathable the material was. So I decided to buy the Yamazaki large Tosca laundry basket (see photo) to throw my workout gear to dry. This system has been great so far!

This hamper has been great and fits in bathrooms with a smaller footprint. It's pretty sturdy and get's the job done.

I purchased this while it was on sale (MSRP is steep). It is a common design and not very large but I was seeking an alternative to throwing all of my clothes into a drawstring sack as I would have this big lump in the middle of my room. It is a little redundant but I throw all my clothes into this, then just transfer them over to the bag once I head to the laundromat. In comparison to other brands with a similar design (e.g Target), this is the sturdiest. But those that do frequent & large loads, this might not be the most suitable option.

The quality of the bag itself is great, there is a thin plastic liner in the bottom that will hold the bag's shape and help keep it clean, and it collapses to carry or stash. It looks very nice, fits exactly where I need it to. It's a beaut. You can even toss damp dishrags on the metal arm to avoid mildew. I have never been this enthralled by a laundry basket. Unfortunately, both arrived with chunks of the powder coat missing. Top and bottom, 7 damaged sections in total. They looked packaged well on the way from Amazon, I'm thinking they are damaged during storage at the warehouses or moved before the paint cured. My white spray paint isn't a precise match, but I'll touch them up with that. I would recommend them with a loud caveat to expect them to have damaged paint when they arrive.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We bought for our grown son for Christmas and he has been very happy with it. He says it looks nice out in the room and is sturdy.

This looks like really nice quality, but there wasn’t sufficient packaging to prevent the metal pieces from rubbing together, which has resulted in the paint coming off where the top parts of the frame meet.

expensive for a laundry basket - but I love yamazaki designs!

One of the few Yamazaki items I sent back. Just didn’t look as great as I’ve come to expect. Sort of looked saggy and with the colour being white, I didn’t think it would age well.
