Memoir '44: Mediterranean Theater Expansion

Oh my goodness! My boys love Memoir 44 and all the expansion packs. They’ll play for hours. It’s also educational, which makes this homeschool mama happy.

My kids (and husband) have been loving Memoir '44 so I know they're going to be thrilled when they get this addition for Christmas.

It's a good supplement but as everyone else pointed out, you will want the desert / winter map for the best enjoyment. Wouldn't mind if their box was a little more sturdy but it will do. There are some nice plastic trays for storage though. Definitely a must for fans of the North African campaign.

This is a great addition to the Memoir ‘44 series. This expansion adds the British forces as well as supplying additional terrain and markers. Well worth adding to your game!

If your a fan of memoir 44 and it’s other expansions you’ll need to add this to your collection. They are getting harder to come by and more expensive.

Another fantastic addition to the Memoir '44 line. All these expansions are must-have's. This expansion introduces the British Stiff Upper Lip and Italian Rules. Some fun scenarios in the desert. Highly recommended is the Desert board or Breakthrough Desert board. This army pack introduces the Desert Rats aka British Tommies in North Africa, the Crusader tanks, Anti-Tank guns, and the 25 pounder Artillery pieces. The box comes with tiles, tokens, markers. This expansion works well with the Special Operations expansion packs as well. Loved the minefield markers.

My son has become addicted to this Memoir 44 series. He and a friend have nightly sessions replaying WWII scenarios. It takes some brains, some strategy, and each time it's played it seems to be a new game. Well worth the money for someone into WWII battles. You learn some history the fun way!

Expansión con el ejercito ingles , campos minados , está genial. Sólo recuerden que hay que comprar aparte el tablero con el desierto.

Vous avez toujours voulu savoir quelles avaient été les grandes batailles africaines ? Les manœuvres de Rommel et de l'armée italienne ? Cette extension est faite pour vous ! Comme d'habitude chez DOW un boite bien garnie (soldats, chars, artillerie + armes anti-char pour les figurines anglaises, hexagones de terrain "désert", badges ....). Coté jeux : les règles de commandement du BCF apportent un renouvellement notamment grâce à la règle du flegme britannique (une unité au contact se trouvant réduite à une figurine peut contrattaquer immédiatement avec 1 dé). Les scénarios peuvent paraitre "plat" dans le désert mais il n'en est rien : à vous de montrer votre virtuosité aux commandes de vos panzers. Cette extension complète la boite de base de MM44 et ne nécessite aucun autre complément de jeu pour jouer. Néanmoins le plateau hiver/désert est recommandé pour des raisons esthétiques ! En bref : un très bon complément de MM44 qui ravira les joueurs du jeux de base. Note : attention à l'heure où ces lignes sont écrite l'extension n'est plus éditée mais il reste quelques exemplaire en circulation

Wer Kosims mag, dem kann ich Memoir44 nur empfehlen. Einfaches Regelwerk, aber trotzdem spannende und strategisch ausgereifte Szenarien. Mal was anderes, wenn man nicht, wie bei Axis&Allies, 20 Stunden am Tisch sitzen will. Nach 30 bis 60 Minuten, je nach Karte, ist die Schlacht durch. Figuren sind robust und gut gemacht. Die Afrika Erweiterung ist eigentlich ein Muss, da die englische Armee in der Grundbox nicht enthalten ist. Achtung! Dies ist nur eine Erweiterung, man kann nicht ohne das Grundspiel zocken.

Ideally you will enjoy adding the desert board expansion and terrain pack to get better value from this expansion overall - several might be needed if you plan to play breakthrough maps or the DDay expansion set, but this is enough for one player on a standard or overlord style set up. Also included is British commonwealth rules and additional tokens.
