I ordered these as just some cheap window envelopes for the office. I had no idea of the fantastic quality of these envelopes!! I was expecting the typical 'recycled' quality paper - but these are quite thick paper with a nice quality feel to them. They are not pure brilliant white - they have a subtle - pleasant- cream/sage tint. Self sealing glue is good and effective. They are smart to have on my desk, a delight to use and I will definitely order them again. The good quality paper makes it easier to insert the folded paper. Those of you who have to stuff multiple envelopes will know how important this is - poor quality envelopes collapse in on themselves making it a battle to stuff an envelope! Seriously I am even considering using these envelopes in place of our 'smart' stationery.

They maybe good for the environment but a little cheap looking! 3 stars because of their eco credentials but that's it!

The envelopes themselves are fine and as expected, but the sticky strip to seal them isn't great. I often have to seal them with sellotape
