Good for small areas
The unit works well and is good for small areas. The streams are of different lengths, so coverage is good. i get about a 15 foot diameter, which is smaller than i expected. The arc adjustment is in two stages: there is a coarse adjustment by rotating the sprinkler head and tube within the outer canister, and there is a finer adjustment by moving a ring at the base of the tube, just below the spring. i don't recall this being identified in the documentation, but it's a nice feature.

Not good at all
I've been using this sprinkler head for about two months now (since watering season really just kicked in) and I can say I pretty much hate everything about it. The concept is a good one but it's not built well at all. I currently use Hunter brand heads and I wanted to switch them out because of overspray. These stream sprinkler heads work well when they work; however, they don't always work well. Sometimes the stream will mover back and forth and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the popup head goes back in the ground, but it USUALLY doesn't. I ordered two of these things and haven't even installed the second one because I hate the first one so much. I think if they fixed its flaws it would be a great product.

We love them- fun and relaxing to watch
Home Depot quit carrying these. We love them- fun and relaxing to watch. SO glad I found some replacement ones - the originals are over 12 years old.

There's much better out there. Toro's not real good with consumer service.
I just don't care for these. The first version Toro made in the 1990's was great. Then they started screwing with them, and this version is horrible when it comes to adjusting throw length. Everyone I've had doesn't seem to adjust but maybe a foot of so, and that's it. And there's just not enough volume of water coming from the very thin streams. They're pretty enough to watch, but that's about it. If I had to do it again, I'd cut the spacing between them by half and double the number of heads. Oh, if you're placing these on slopes, you MUST angle the heads to be at 90 degrees, or perpendicular to the slope, and good luck with that. Otherwise, the lower heads will just shoot water no more than a few feet, and the upper heads overshoot.

Nice replacements. Have a gentle spray
Nice replacements. Have a gentle spray. Easy to setup. Put the "R" on the right edge and the pattern needed above the "R". Much easier than older models to get correct.

Less range than the old 300 series units
Sure wish they made the old 300 series rotating sprinklers. They are so much better then the current offering. The throw on these is about 1/2 of the 300. However, it worked in my application.
