Perfect complement to our brand new contemporary grey kitchen with its concrete effect cabinet panels. We have 7 knives in the block which it holds easily. Useful depth is 20cm so our 23cm bread knife has 3 cms exposed edge below the handle but in practice this is not a major issue. The plastic fingers into which you plunge the knife blades work extremely well and are very flexible - better than a wooden block with fixed size slots. We bought two so we had a matching one for kitchen utensils. If the style is important to you this is an excellent product otherwise there are many more cheaper options which would fulfil the same function.
