KIM WILDE ALBUM ANOTHER STEP LP/PRESS /MCA198

Cherry Pop really knows what they're doing when they reissue cd's. As the other reviewer noted, the booklet is top notch with the story of the disc and Kim at the time, the lyrics and plenty of photos. The sound again is very, very good. The bounus tracks are excellent, however the 9 remixes of You Keep Me Hangin' On included on disc two may be a bit much for many. You can get the better known songs on this disc on hits collections, but there are tracks that are not available elsewhere that are certainly worthy of a listen! It says something that the demand for Kim's music all these years later has led to Cherry Pop reissuing her recordings and that original copies of her CD's which are long out of print were fetching such high prices before the reissues hit the market.

One of the best repackage jobs I have experienced. I loved the album when it came out, around 1987 and this deluxe edition made it even more enjoyable!

I am so, so glad this album was released on CD! I still had the "Say You Really Want Me" 45 to this day, and I really liked the B-side song, "She Hasn't Got Time For You". And don't get me started on her rendition of the 'Supremes' song, "You Keep Me Hangin' On". Very nice, I've always liked that version of the song as well. I must say after listening to this CD, I like Kim Wilde even more. Great CD!

I loved this album years ago in cassette form and had been looking forward to it for years in CD, only to find it not available. Another Step is now available on download and I was happy to get it and remember my younger days. IMO, the best Kim Wilde album. (Note a different album cover than the original).

Well there could be alot of things said about Kim Wilde. But just taking this CD "Another Step" defines her as a classic pop artist.Her doing "You Keep Me Hanging On" & "Do You Really Want Me" alone are worth it buying.Plus having the extended mixes of each remastered are well worth it. You wanna take Another Step back in time? This is your CD to own!

worth it just for School Girl and of course Kim's biggest hit. You Keep me Hanging on, the Kim Wilde version is a globally loved moment of the 80's, timeless Kim Wilde. A great CD because it has so many different mixes etc

This wonderful Deluxe Edition of Another Step is sensational, a truly magnificent album all the bonus racks are fabulous as well as all the remixes and extended versions on the second disc, this album is a must have for Kim Wilde fans and the remastered sound by Cherry Red is excellent.

If you like Kim Wilde, then you will love this remaster. And, there are tracks on this CD that have never been released on CD before, like 'Loving you', just a fantastic track in it's own right, I can't stop listening to this one! Just great. :-)

22 years old and still fantastic. Surprisingly only 3 singles were released here in the UK You Keep Me Hangin' On (no.2), Another Step (no.6) and Say You Really Want Me (no.29), but i have to say Hit Him, I've Got So Much Love, She Hasn't Got Time For You and The Thrill Of It would all have been huge - this is one of my fave Kim albums, and always lifts the spirits to a good good feeling. Any Kim fan debating whether to own this cd, should buy it immediately - or the record company should remaster Kim's past albums and re-release them. A remarkable gem of the 80's, with masses of hits beneath her belt, Kim should be standing neck and neck with the likes of Culture Club, Wham!, Duran Duran and Madonna. She sold millions in her heyday - so it's time to bring it all back.

Kim Wilde is surely Britain's pioneering pop queen. Having had probably more singles than any other UK female solo artist. On album no.4 she scored her biggest hit with "You Keep Me Hangin' On" originally by The Supremes. Another Step is pure 80s pop,fillied with catchy tunes highlighting slick production and ambition. Where as Kim's earlier albums were more focused on art and new wave, Another Step is geared towards a much more commercial appeal. Cherry Red's fabulous 2 cd version is notable for two main reasons: Firstly it's the only complete and comprehensive set including all alternative versions,b-sides and remixes available together for the first time: Secondly it's remastered sound enhances the listening experience over all other releases of this album out there. Buy It!!

Très satisfait de l'album mais les titres bonus n'apportent pas grand chose à l'album original. De plus il manque les paroles des chansons à partir de la troisième chanson jusqu'à la neuvième sur les dix-huit chansons du cd. Très dommage même si je pense qu'il s'agit d'une erreur de fabrication lors de l'impression de la jaquette : il semble manquer toute une page. Sinon j'adore les chansons de cet album. Seul le deuxième cd qui contient uniquement des remix me semble inutile par rapport au cd 1 qui se suffit à lui même
