Although I loved the look and the style of this case on my iPhone8 Plus, not to mention how it didn’t feel too bulky while holding it, wanting to think “this will be my best and most favorite case I’ve had so far”. Or so I thought... fast forward to later that day while I was on the phone talking with someone. They could nearly hear me, and said there was so much weird noise in the background that it kept cutting out my voice, even turned off noise canceling on my settings (which I read can help) nothing worked. I even tried it myself with switching phones with my boyfriend and calling myself to hear what it sounds like and it is awful! First you sound like you’re a million miles away from the phone and 2nd, if you move your hand you’re holding your phone with, it makes all kinds of “background” noise like someone is rubbing their finger on the microphone constantly, it’s annoying to listen to. Highly disappointed, I was really excited about this case.

I have had an otter box defender on my iPhone 7plus for a while now. It was great but not sand proof. I frequently had to take it off and clean all the little holes with a toothbrush. It got very dirty. With all the taking off and putting back on the silicone/rubber bumper became very loose and came off easily. Also the otter box didn’t have a protector over the camera lens, this does!!! I have had this case on my phone for about 5 mins and already in love. I can’t see a way dirt, sand or water could get it. I live in Florida and sand is everywhere!!! It comes with cleaning pads also for your screen. Still able to use my fingerprint sign in. And the button to silence is great. Just a turn and it’s on silent. overall super excited. Haven’t tested water but I’m sure some day I’ll drop it in a rain puddle again. Wish I had more phones to buy more of these cases!!!! Slim design so it won’t bulk up ur pockets. I’m a nurse and my Otter Box was so heavy it always pulled down my scrub pants, I don’t see this happening with this case it’s lightweight and fits nice in my hands too. I also had to take my other case off to put my phone in the dock to charge with my watch. This one fits, it’s snug, but I don’t have to take it off to sit in the dock. Also on my Otter Box I had to cut out the seal for my fingerprint eventually because it would no long work with it on. It was distorted and wrinkled. I don’t see this happening to this case. What else can I say. Buy it already!!! I have the beautiful teal/aqua, cause it’s close to the color of our emerald colored beaches here in the Panhandle of Florida.

Item was as described and received case quickly. The case fits nicely on the 8 Plus. (Not as bulky as another waterproof case I had on previous phone.) The added strap is another safety feature! I only have the case a few weeks. I have not used it under water at the time of this review. I don’t have any issues listening to music with this case. I don’t talk much on the phone, but when I did the person at the other end didn’t notice issues with hearing me nor I with them as other reviewers have mentioned. The case has a nice turn dial to mute the phone that is easy to use. The plug at the charging location is very snug to keep moisture and dirt away from inside. The on/off button on the right side works smoothly. The volume buttons seem harder to press than the on/off. This makes taking photos with the volume button hard to take. So you notice the movement when trying to press on Live Photo’s. I took lots of photos on our trip and tried to remember to just tap the screen to take the photos. Maybe the volume buttons will get easier to press as they get used more.

This is a great waterproof case! I tested the case with a piece of paper, and after 30 minutes the paper was still dry! I’ve used this many times in the pool and underwater. My phone still works great. It also takes great pictures underwater!

May 15, 2020 It took a bit for the screen to work properly but after that it works like a charm so far. Looks just like the pic. I love it so far.December 22, 2020. I dropped it a couple times (by accident) and I scratched the plastic on the screen. It’s not waterproof anymore and after dropping it the plastic part cracked. I’m ready to order a new oneMarch 6, 2021. I can’t even take the case off with out it falling apart. The piece that covers the charging finally has fallen off and the protection over the button has a hole in it. It did its job for almost a year

I got this case specifically because I backpack a lot and often times I'm hiking to/am around a body of water. This seemed like a much safer way to store my phone but still be able to use it to take pics and such as opposed to a plastic bag. I tried using the case for normal everyday use but it is very hard for people to hear me while on the phone (I've had the same issue with other waterproof cases but that is because the speakers are covered due to it being waterproof) so I decided to only use it when I'm hitting the trail. I got to actually use the case for the first time yesterday and it did an AMAZING job of keeping my phone dry despite some rain early on and using it to take some pics of the hot springs we were enjoying.My only complaint about the case is that it was SUPER hard to use the buttons on the side because they are very stiff and it was even difficult to maneuver on the phone's touch screen because it didn't want to pick up my touch (when it was both dry and had water on the outside of the case). All in all, my phone stayed 100% dry so the case did its job and it wasn't like I was trying to text while I was out there. However, I would not be able to use this as a daily phone protector if that was my intention.
