Fox Run Marble French Rolling Pin and Base, 2 x 12 x 2 inches

So I bought this rolling pin because I liked the look, material, and the fact it comes with a little stand to keep it on your counter. However, when it arrived the box it comes in was beat up and the stand (which was the reason I went with this one) was broken into two pieces. I feel like they could package it a bit better to prevent this from happening. I plan on trying to fix it myself so we will see how it turns out. Other than that though it is a nice rolling pin and has a great weight to it. I'm looking forward to being able to use it instead of my old wooden rolling pin.

I use this rolling pin to make layered puff pastry, the marble is very pretty, but what I like the most about it is that it is comfortable in the hand, and has enough heft to it to *lightly* hammer butter and spices, but it is not overly heavy. The product its self gets 5 Stars, but the little pedestal holder came with a chipped off corner, Not enough to warrant any bad review, but can't say I was 100% satisfied with that part. would recommend to anyone who is interested in a decent rolling pin.

Durable and high quality. Easy to make Chapatis/Rotis with (if you get the matching marble base). This roller works great. Nothing much sticks to it. Kind of heavy but that speaks to the quality.

I use this for dough I lube it with veg oil use it for pizza and bread dough bread because if you do no roll the dough for bread you get many holes in bread hate that if you roll bread dough but not to much it takes out all air bubbles on holes in bread it is a little heavy for this but I love it. GREAT.

The product is made of marble which is heavy material and it works beautifully easy to clean easy to use lice little rack for storing it I have left it on the counter because I think it's pretty.

Ideal weight for rolling pie crust and fondant.

Nice weight to it, this is my first rolling pin as I got into baking during this pandemic but I think the weight really helped make rolling easier for me. I put it in the fridge before rolling and it kept cold for a good amount of time afterwards! Was effective in rolling out an even pie crust that kept cool and turned out nice and flakey afterwards! It’s very smooth so you’ll have to flour your dough well since dry flour will fall right off it. This is a plus though because it makes cleaning a breeze (wet flour will stick to it but it comes off pretty easily)! I love this rolling pin! It looks kinda pretty on my counter too.

Very easy to clean and use. The weight is nice makes for fast rolling. The marble stays cool so it nice when working with buttery doughs.
