I have an OSMO 1 and the thumb wheel accessory. I have a little zipper case that would hold the OSMO in the carrying case but not with the wheel attached. This solves the problem of pulling out the OSMO, taking it out of the carrying case, attaching the wheel, then trying to shoot a video. When I was done, unless I was carrying the little zipper case, I had to just put the wheel in my pocket. This case solves that problem. The quality is every bit as good as the original DJI case and it was not expensive. Recommended if you are an OSMO 1 user with the wheel.

I think DJI dropped the ball on the original case. The original case should have the capacity and design to hold the scroller wheel accessory. This new case is sturdy, nicely made and fits perfectly the OSMO pocket with Scroller wheel. Osmo Pocket is safe in this case just like original. If you have Scroller wheel or expansion pack, just get this case. You won't be disappointed. Thanks.

Nice little case. With all the accessories out there for the Osmo, you immediately have to ditch one of the great features of the osmo - it's carrying case. Well this thing keeps everything you like about that case - and accommodates the thumbwheel accessory that is probably one of the more useful additions to the Osmo. The makes of the case recognize you probably want to keep that thing on most of the time. The little strap is a nice touch - but for me, comes undone a bit. There's a little nub 'round the back that you essentially loop it onto. The rubber-band like strap doesn't feel tight enough to make what would feel like.a secure grasp onto that nub. But I only ding one star for that - because the reality is, the Osmo pretty much stays seated inside the case. But, I do wish the strap offered a stronger hold and stayed put.

Seem pretty much identical to the original case, except it is configured to allow the controller wheel accessory to remain in place all the time. My most important consideration was I did not want to have to slide the controller wheel on and off the Osmo every time I used the camera and possible miss shots while doing so. The rubber strap could secure a bit better. The original snapped over a pin, this one is slotted and if you're not careful to make sure it's securely over the male post, Osmo could fall out. That said I am completely happy with the modified carrying case.

So you get an OSMO pocket and then buy the factory expansion pack, what do you do, swap out the controller every time you need to put it back in the case? Finally, this solution is available for you, after you're done using your camera just simply put it back in the case. comes with the wrist lanyard already on it. Its not quite textured as the OE finish (for the case) but for the price what do you expect, its reasonable, and material seems like its made well.

Just used this for a hiking trip in the Grand Canyon because the default case doesn’t allow for the wheel to stay attached. I was pretty rough on it this trip getting it in and out of my bag as well as using it all the time. It’s great. I wish the hand strap was a little wider but that wasn’t a deal breaker at all.

The Osmo Pocket with the controller wheel perfectly fits in this case (just like in the original case without the controller wheel). I highly recommend it for those who keep the controller wheel attached on the camera, probably the best solution I could find.

This is how the case should have been designed by DJI. The quality is just as good. Someone mentioned the strap didn't hold securely for them, but there's a lip on the catch; if you press gently the strap holds just as well as the OEM case.
