Not sustainable over the long term.
I have completed this program twice. I have read the book. Here are some observations I think are worth sharing: It appears that most of the positive reviewers here are coaches who are selling the Faster Way program. They are most invested in the program because they are building their business online. They are buying multiple copies of the book to sell and market the program to their clients. The book does not tell you how to do the program. The program works, however I found that it's difficult to follow and not sustainable for me, personally, over the long term (which is really what I need). I need a simple, sustainable, healthy lifestyle and don't want to pay a high monthly fee the rest of my life to do it. Basically, after you sign up, you get a weekly workout schedule, along with a calorie/macro counting schedule to track on My Fitness Pal. You will have your macros and calories calculated on My Fitness Pal by entering your personal goals within the app. Monday and Tuesday are Low Carb days where you eat 50g of carbs or less. Wednesday is a Regular Calorie/Macro Day, Thursday is a Regular Calorie/Macro Day, Friday is a Low Calorie/Macro Day (reduce calories by 25%), Saturday is Regular Calorie/Macro Day, and Sunday is a Low Calorie/Macro Day (reduce calories by 25%). (These days can be shifted around to adapt to your schedule, if necessary.) You will also be Fasting a minimum of 12 hours a day. (Working up to 16 hours, with some days of 24 hour Fasts eventually worked into the program.) Each day, specific workouts are given to coordinate with calorie intake. (You will workout more on the days where you are eating more. On Low Carb days, you do Higher intensity workouts to burn Fat.) I think Amanda has worked extremely hard to create this program. It's just a lot to take on and work into a busy life, in my opinion. The support group with an assigned coach is on Facebook. I found this aspect to be really disappointing, given the price of the program. You really just post your macros every day for accountability. The coach looks at the post and might comment, or might not. (You will not ever talk to anyone live, on the phone.) While the overall program works, I honestly can't keep it up for the long haul. I need something that comes more naturally with less to focus on. All of this tracking feels like way too much to sustain, and doesn't feel right to me mentally. I also don't like changing my approach every single day. If you want to feel better, start with eating 10 servings of vegetables a day. Make smoothies. Cut out processed sugar and foods. Juice. Drink a lot of water. Walk every day. Lift weights. Or do Yoga. Find easy Joy. This program is not rocket science. It's also not personalized. Everyone is very different. Experiment and find what works for you. Keep it simple. Do that for the long haul.

An honest review from someone who's done the program and actually read the book!
Here on amazon, always pay more attention to the "verified purchase" reviews, otherwise the reviewer isn't necessarily giving an honest review of the product. I think a lot of the 5 star reviews are from people who've done the program but not read the book. My 4 stars is for the book - not the program. The program gets 5 stars! The book is actually a wonderfully written resource for those who've gone through the program and for coaches as a reference tool. It contains the whys behind the program and how Amanda came to discover and create the program. It does NOT tell you the actual details of how to do it correctly. In order to know that, you have to pay $199 for the 6 week program via the website. It sounds a little shady, but I promise you it is not. It's worth it and I'm glad I joined.I have gone through the program and I will tell you - it works! It's an awesome solution to losing weight, increasing strength, and improving your health. I HIGHLY recommend it! You learn how to adjust your macros each day with carb cycling...regular days, low macro days, and low carb days. You get access to a portal telling you exactly what exercise to do for each day, so the macros paired with the workout are optimum. You also have two rest days. You are assigned a coach and a facebook group for accountability and support. You can pick your coach by researching folks on instagram (search #fasterwaytofatlosscoach to view accounts to find someone you like). If you get a good coach, they will be available quickly to answer questions and if the other members in the facebook group are active, you will really enjoy it. I recommend finding someone who is active on instagram a lot so they will be active in their facebook group. Also someone who is close to your age so you feel you have a lot in common with them. There are LOTS of coaches....I'm sure you will find your person! So in a nutshell, buy the book if you've gone through the program. Do NOT buy the book if you want to know how to do the program but don't want to pay to join. It won't give you the answers.Perhaps the book should have a clear disclaimer that it is a tool for those following the plan. It's a great resource and I enjoyed reading it. Perhaps it's also good if you are thinking about joining and want to know a little more about what you are getting yourself into. But it is not the guidebook to show you how to do it. Amanda has shared a lot of the info on her instagram, facebook, and website as well. But it's wonderful to have it all in one place in this book. She devotes a ton of time to her clients and coaches and family. She is not a snake oil salesman...she is genuine and has found a way to share her skills with the world in a modern way that reaches thousands via the internet in the privacy of their own homes.

Disappointing Program, Clearly Just Trying to Grow her Business
I completed the Faster Way to Fat Loss Program earlier this year, and I have to say the program lacks substance and is definitely not worth the money. For $199, I got absolutely nothing but a PDF document telling me how to calculate my macros for the day. On top of that, I had to also pay for the premium version of MyFitnessPal to track said macros. For that amount of money, I would expect to get the tools I need to follow the program. I was supposed to get a coach, but my "coach" did nothing but add me to a Facebook group. Even when I reached out to her personally..... I have absolutely no idea what I got for that amount of money, and since Amanda claims the book doesn't give away the "secrets" behind the program, I wouldn't imagine the book has much substance either. The nuts and bolts of her program are quite simple and nothing proprietary, but keeping up with it in reality is not feasible for anyone who has any priorities other than their health. On top of all of this.....if you follow Amanda or the corporate Faster Way to Fat Loss Instagram page, you will see that this is really about growing her business, making money for her (and her "coaches") and maintaining appearances. It's very cult like, and while I don't think it's technically and MLM, it gives off those vibes. I don't feel they have a quality product offering ($199 for a PDF???) and are obsessed with images....I have nothing wrong with capitalism or entrepreneurship, but it is clear money is the #1 driver here since the "product" is lackluster.

A promotion for the programme, not a how to guide
Disappointed. The book is a promotion for the programme not a how to. All topics included in the book are interesting but I already knew all the information on carb cycling/ fasting etc. I wanted to know how to use them all together like the programme. But this book doesn’t show you that. It simply gives you an overview and then says we use this in the programme.. it doesn’t tell you how. A waste of money.

Not worth the money
There is nothing useful in this book. It is a plug to join the very expensive, online program. Save your money!
