Very tactile and nice looking piece of woodwork. Good snare effect from the internal wires straight out of the box (there is a video on YouTube that makes it sound like it is loaded with springs - that is very misleading). Limited bass - but this is a small box so you cannot expect more - but the bass is sufficiently different from the snare sound to be very playable. Supplied with a snug and well made bag with handles and a shoulder strap so you can take it anywhere, plus an Allen key to adjust the snare wires if you need to. Great fun, but a serious instrument just the same - and great value compared to the competition. Recommended!!

This item arrived safe and well packaged.This Cajon box is fantastic. Its compact size means it can be fully portable! You can take this anywhere, to any gathering etc and crack out the drum! What better way to spread happiness... through music!This is a great percussion instrument that can be easily learnt, and this Cajon is the perfect model to start learning with.The case is the perfect size and very well padded to protect the drum carefully.I highly recommend this product.

Lovely compact travel cajon but sadly the strap for the bag was delivered broken. Appreciate if a new strap could be sent out as no need to return whole product. Nice side port which can be cupped with hand to alter sound akin to Udu drum! Adjusted snare strings easily to alter sound and remove annoying rattle. Also delivery was late because the amazon locker was full on first attempt!

Feels brilliantly. Looks great, all edges very smooth. Definitely worth getting. Sound is good, but for my personal taste, the snares are a bit too loud. Couldn't find any cajon of this size without snares.

Bought for my granddaughter who plays the drums. She absolutely loves it and she gets a fantastic sound from it. Very impressed

Be aware that this is a portable/travel Cajon drum. The position you play it in is different and is not so sonically complex as a full size Cajon. Nevertheless it does the job once you get the hang of it!

Not bad for the money. Velcro provided is not great. Held well for the first two weeks . Now failing. Ok if you just want to have a go with Castanets on your Cajon. I will probably go for a better set in time.
