Oh, happy day! New Kelly CD. Piece By Piece is one to own! My personal favorites for the reasons noted are - 2. Invincible - beautiful and powerful 4. Take You High - cool, uplifting song 7. I Had a Dream - good message song 8. Let Your Tears Fall -- such pretty vocalization 14. Bad Reputation -- haha, fun, sassy song 16. Second Wind - this is the Kelly we all fell in love with, strong, confident and not backing down or taking names. Right now, it's my favorite. Tomorrow, it could be another song entirely. It is - Good Goes the Bye. All rightie, another day so it's Into the Blue. The one song I am not super into is Dance With Me. I don't care for her lower vocals. Just a preference. While I like some some songs better than others, I am finding that Kelly's voice is THE BEST thing here. She's always fantastically good but on some tracks, she's so clear and beautifully toned, she could be singing something silly like "the garbage truck is picking up trash" and I'm so lost in her voice, I wouldn't notice. Let's hope little River can sing like her Momma.

Piece By Piece is a very enjoyable album, and Clarkson fans should not hesitate. The album is quite diverse and different, while being euphoric and bold. Nice! It's a real soulful collection of synth-pop gems that's more nuanced and better crafted than most modern pop. The sound quality is quite good, though a bit heavy handed on the compression (ie: loudness war); but fortunately, it doesn't destroy the album by any stretch. Thank goodness the music and performances are so enticing. It also feels like the type of album that's going to show us more layers, the more it's played. I've come to the conclusion there is not a dud or a throwaway track to be found, and the pacing is excellent which builds up nicely to the finale. This is a fully conceived album. *** Even the three bonus tracks (found on the deluxe edition) help complete a wonderful listening experience. In fact, I enjoyed those three bonus tracks as much as the rest of the album. So obviously, I am recommending the deluxe edition. It's clear that Kelly Clarkson is here to stay and continues to develop with each album. Bravo!

I agree with the many other reviews that say how all the songs are good on this album & that none of them are "throw-always". The combination of Kelly's amazingly powerful, beautiful voice with the catchiness of all the tunes makes for multiple Top Ten, if not Number One hits! I cannot imagine this album not winning tons of awards next year, especially Grammys. More importantly, Kelly will also be winning multiple awards and Grammys for this album. If she doesn't, then the world really has gone mad! Few in the music industry can sing as many diverse genres of music like Kelly Clarkson can and fewer yet have a voice as fantastic as hers is. Clearly, she gets better with each passing album and this one may be her best work yet. There's no doubt in my mind that she is definitely a future Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Famer & a future Kennedy Center Honoree! Go buy this album now cause you'll be humming the tunes all summer long! It's that great!!!!

I expected a bit more from this effort. A few truly artistic songs (Piece by Piece is exceptional, Heartbeat is cute, Dance with Me is powerful, Bad Reputation has a GREAT R&B feel and Nostalgic is truly artisticly Nostalgic), but not fully the "Kelly" we remember and probably only Piece By Piece remembered in a year. My opinion anyway...

Excelente musica

Upon my first listen, I wasn't sure what to think. I initially was not impressed. This is a departure from her usual anthemic masterpieces of the past. More electonica thrown in here and there. But, IT WORKS! (Again, at first, I thought WTF?!) I call this her "quiet" album. No over the top screaming on this album. She is in total control of her gorgeous instrument. Then, upon repeated listening, something weird started to happen. The songs, their catchy hooks and great lyrics started to embed themselves into my brain. And, like a crack addiction, I had to go back for more and listen, again and again. Of the 16 tracks on this stellar set, I listen to 14 of them on heavy rotation. My two least favorite tracks: Heartbeat Song (In my opinion, it is the weakest track of the bunch. Surely they could have chosen a better lead single! It leaves me scratching my head as to why this song was chosen to launch this album.) and Run,Run,Run. (Kind of a snoozefest.) Several tracks I simply cannot get out of my head: War Paint, Someone, Piece by Piece, Invincible, In The Blue, Nostalgic, and the list goes on! I will be watching the Grammy's next winter to watch you snag some deserved awards that night and mop the floor with those other so called "vocalists". Kudos, Kelly. I am a fan for life.

Llegó en excelentes condiciones, solo que al reproducir sí muestra un poco de pandeo, a pesar de eso, no afecta su reproducción.

A versão em vinil não tem a capa brilhosa como no CD, mas ainda assim é lindo. As capas internas são brancas, poderiam ter incluído fotos. Não tem encarte. O álbum é incrível e tem músicas tão boas. Paguei R$135 então foi um ótimo custo benefício.
