very hard to install but love it
On the install, remove the screws from the knee bar, barely install the 2 screws that come with the handle, hold the whole Ninebot up by the knee bar so the weight of the Ninebot is pulling against the knee bar, and whack those 2 screws with a hammer.I'm 6'2" and the handle is perfect for me. It makes riding the Ninebot so much easier.

Unsafe at any speed!!!
I know one star is a little harsh, but this is a completely unimpressive handlebar, and it is unsafe. It deserves zero stars and a do not buy logo. As mentioned by others, there are absolutely no instructions, the holes do not fit the screws they send you, but if you are mechanically inclined, you can get it easily installed within 10 minutes. That is assuming, you know how to get the old knee bar off, which is very tricky. I promise you, you will struggle with that. Anyway, my biggest complaint with this handle bar is that it is forward heavy, meaning, when I step off the nine bought, it rolls slowly forward. No amount of recalibrating and adjusting the tilt with the application on my phone have overcome this. So, the handle bar was difficult to install, because it was undocumented and not machined well, and it is designed poorly to be too heavy forward. But, if you can deal with those, it is definitely fun to ride with handlebars instead of knees only. It’s a typical quick mass Chinese import product. No real finesse to the handlebar. Just, Expect that this product will underwhelm you, but function, bottom line.Update after two weeks of use: THIS ITEM IS UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED!!! Do not buy!!! I was concerned from the beginning that the connector from the handlebar to the mini pro is plastic, but it seemed sturdy enough. However, today I stumbled and tried to correct myself on the handlebar and it snapped right off, and my legs were tangled in the scooter and steering pole. I fell hard and broke my shoulder. This would not have happened if I could trust the rigidity of the handlebar, but it snapped right off. I am a tall man, but not heavy. I’m 5’11”, 165 pounds. Athletic. I fell and now I have an injury because of a cheap plastic control arm instead of aluminum. Really no excuse to sell this junk. It is unsafe.

Difficult to remove original equipment but easy with a little knowledge
Installation is pretty straight forward so I understand why there’s no instructions included. BUT>>>>They could have told me what difficulties I was going to have getting the original equipment off to install their handlebar kit! If you google, the NinebotS forum, is one of the first topics found. Now, For how I did it. Go to the forum and read. I used the method of putting one of the installion screws half way in and tapping the Segway off the handle. Don’t try prying or wiggling. You’ll just get frustrated. I’m not saying this is the correct way to do this. It’s the way I did it. (Just a disclosure). Remove the screws and spray a shot of penetrating oil in the holes to get a little lube in and around the fitting. Next, I tied a rope around the original knee bar handle down around the mounting point so I could pick up the whole Segway just by the handle bar, suspending it off of its wheels a couple inches. I tied my rope to my hoist to suspend it but you can just have someone hold it up off the ground by hand for this next step. Thread one of the installation bolts back in the hole only 1/3rd to 1/2 way in. Use a punch (sized to match the Allen head bolt) and tap on the bolt to push the Segway off of the handle. it should only take a few taps. Just don’t mess up the threads. When you think about it, you are pushing the Segway off the handle instead of pulling the handle off to the Segway! Also, it allows you to drive the punch in a straight line apposed to trying to pry in odd angles. If you purchase the Go Kart kit, there’s a tool just for removing the knee bar. There are other options that people were chattering about on the forum but this is the one I used and it went off with now problems. Again, don’t try to pry it off. You’ll just end up pissed and break something!

They work, but feel a little chincy
Easy to install, same as putting on the knee bar, two bolts. This does completely change the Nine-Bot S. I probably put 30 miles on it then put these bars on it. For someone who doesn't like the knee steering these are a dream. But they have some play in the handles, and just don't feel as solid. It's also a lot easier to push this too far too fast which might cause you to be ejected. Especially over bumpy terrain. If you grasp for something for balance and that something is this bar and you push yourself one way or another, it's a tad surprising. The segway is unforgiving in this way.We have two segway Nine-Bot S's one with the bars the other without. The kids all go handlebar less, adults seem to gravitate for the handlebars. If I were to purchase another set, I might spend a tad more in hopes of getting one that just 'feels better' than this does.

Sense of Security
Obviously this replaces the knee steering. Since my kids wanted to ride, I got these handlebars. Only purpose is to give a sense of security. Definitely worth it.

This is NOT simple and you need to be handy.
NO INSTRUCTIONS. WONT COME OFF so dont know how my 10 yr old will graduate off of the handlebars. Finally had to go to youtube to find someone putting it together. The clamp is cheap and had to be manipulated with a wire while sliding the pieces together. If you aren't handy, dont by this. We even had to shave some of the aluminum off the base to get it to slide in. What would have been 10 minutes with INSTRUCTIONS provided was an hour. And, like I said - it fits way too tightly to ever come off.

Great fit
Overall very pleased with the handlebar. The only problem we have is removing it to use the Segway in Go-kart mode.
