Casio Men's PRG-330-4ACR ProTrek Digital Display Quartz Black Watch Color: Black/Red

This is the second Casio ProTrek watch that I own. I purchased it for its versatility and solar recharging capability. Light weight, easy to read and set. I’ve always liked Casio watches as they are easy to set up and understand. Happy with my purchase.

I’ve been eyeing this watch for a little while now. I’ve trusted Casio/gshock/protrek for decades. My first watch was a gshock, my first watch in the military was a protrek. I trust these watches.This particular watch is more on the aesthetic than functional side. The watch has all the features that other protreks have but does not feel as rugged.The band is thinner and slimmer in comparison to my other protreks. The dial is fixed, buttons are not completely recessed but I have not bumped any of them accidentally.My only concern with this particular protrek is longevity in terms of aesthetics. I don’t think the orange dial will stay in pristine shape w/ light to moderate use. Also, the band is a dark blue not black as listed.I decided to buy it at a risk as this was a used watch. To my surprise the watch arrived basically brand new.

Very nice watch. I needed a watch with primarily barometric pressure, altitude and sunrise/sunset. This gives me that and more. Setup was a breeze though I needed a magnifying glass to read the instructions. I can easily toggle between features on the screen and can customize it easily. It’s not too large either so I like that. The Orange is a nice color. The resin strap in comfortable and hasn’t caused a rash like some others. I wish the bezel was rotatable but not a showstopper. also the light switch location isn’t optimal. It takes me a 5-10 seconds to find the right spot to activate it. The light does come on when wrist is at 45 degrees facing you and that makes up for the oddly placed button. You’ll like this nicely priced and full featured Protrek

Nice watch, feels like it will last well. The strap doesn’t fit my smaller ladywrist very well, the strap capture band cannot cover the end of the strap on the 5 smallest hole settings. Great colour (orange). Be good for the temp sensor to not be so close to the skin, but the sensor piece is nicely subtle.
