Aduro Sport Foldable Pedal Exerciser, Stationary Under Desk Exercise Equipment Arm/Leg/Foot Peddler Exercise

I purchased this stationary peddler for my mother, a Parkinson’s/Pulmonary patient. This type of thing is used in nursing homes for rehabilitation.Now, it came assembled, and it’s a convenient folding size that can fit easily under a chair or something, and can be used to work the legs or put up on a table to work the arms. Good points. It’s priced to beat competition, and has a little color and a sporty design, so it doesn’t look like something from a nursing home/rehab facility.My issue is with the near zero ability to actually adjust the resistance - a central purpose for this thing using material and existing on the planet. Resistance is adjusted with a knob that screws into the front. The holes between the metal inner structure and the outer plastic housing don’t quite line up. As well the piece is so light that it is not firmly on the ground when in use - a potential hazard for a rehab patient. I will have to design my own work around to address that.I decided to keep it, as my mother is frail and weak, so can’t work against much resistance, but this is one of those products that wayyyy under delivers on what it’s meant to do.My rating is probably more generous than it should be...

I have used a similar pedal exerciser in physical therapy for several months, and decided that I would benefit more if I had one of my own and could use it daily. I love this pedal exerciser. I sits easily on the table for arm use and is very sturdy. I like that I can reset the timer with each use. This allows me to increase my goals. It tracks the calories, but I don't use that much. I focus more on the time. It is very easy to adjust the tension as therapy increases. I am paralyzed in one leg and have not used it for legs so I can only focus on the workout for the arms, but I've been using it for a month and notice a big difference in my physical therapy. I have also lost some of the flabbiness in my arms and gained some muscle mass. I have recommended this to several family members and friends and would recommend it to others.

This company is really good to work with. I ordered this and the resistance knob wouldn’t tighten. When I responded to their nice email asking if everything was ok, I shared that the knob didn’t work. They responded immediately. They were willing to give my money back or send another. I wanted to try again and they sent me another. It is a little light weight but works great for me. Resistance knob works fine. Happy with my product and the customer service!

Since getting this product, I use it all the time. It's nice to be able to at least move your legs while having to sit for long periods of time. It doesn't feel like a work-out, but its nice just getting the blood circulating and feeling like you're doing something. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the plastic doesn't seem very sturdy with the friction increased..as if it is going to break (though I hope it doesn't because I love using it).

This is an excellent device to get some exercise when going out for a walk isn't practical. It's small and easy to move around, and the gripper feet work well. The pedal tension adustment is a weak point and will work it's way out (or wearing out inside) and must be re-tensioned every day. Also, the cycle counter will not work if it loosens too much. While foldable, the space saved is not that great, but better than not at all.

It's sturdy enough, but gets wobbly when you pedal. You have to find a spot against a wall or some other area where it will keep stable. A yoga mat helps.My gym doesn't have a hand pedaler like the one I used in PT, so this is a good supplement for my workouts. It's OK for the price, but it's no substitute for the stationary bike at the gym.

When I saw this I thought it would be ideal for occasional use, and even though its cheap and usually its a case of getting what you pay for, the other reviews for the most part were good so.... now wish I had of just said no and paid more for a different one.Its very easy to use straight out of they box with minor parts to attach, so this morning I sat down and for 10 minutes used it whilst sitting down. Wasnt overwhelmed with it, didnt feel as sturdy as I would have liked but thought I would stick with it, thats when I bent down to slip my feet out of the pedals.... I had felt some slight heat but didnt pay much attention but when I touched the steel bars the pedals are attached to, I almost literally burned myself, the metal was that hot to the point I honestly feared it could spark if used again.I had already trashed the boxes so couldn't pack it up and send it back, and now the metal has fully cooled down I have actually thrown it in the dumpster, I dont even want to give it away in case it affects someone else. I dont know if this was just a one-off faulty exerciser, but I do suggest others who already have it to feel those bars after use and see if it does in fact happen to theirs.

I finished cardio therapy last week. The under-desk pedal exerciser was recommended because it is two exercisers in one, leg and arm and I did not want to join a fitness club. I received the Aduro Foldable Pedal Exerciser when promised, no assembly required. The tension is adjustable and can be increased or decreased per your level. It does provide a good work out and I am pleased with it. i am retired and planned to use it in my home. We have tile floors and it slid when I began pedaling. Solved that by placing it against the wall and using the kitchen chair. The exerciser is sturdy and folds for easy storage.
