I love to use this product for detoxing when bathing. Be sure to use a wood spoon. Use with hot water , Epson salt or baking soda. Be sure to rinse your tub after use. You will love the texture, quality and effectiveness. You will feel amazing after a good soak. Drink lots of water when detoxing as this product has amazing absorbing. Great price. Highly recommend!

I bought this face mask as a weekly reset to help remove buildup from makeup and oil throughout the week. The clay is a fine powder with no noticeable scent and has a muted green color. It comes sealed with plastic and a sticker from the lid to the container labeled “Calcium Bentonite Clay,” which made it feel secure and untouched. There is also an expiration date printed on the bottom of the container, which I appreciated. I mixed it with Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, since it helps activate the clay and balance the pH. When mixed, it does fizz slightly, which shows the reaction is happening. The application is smooth once mixed, although it can get a bit messy. I left it on for a few minutes until it started to dry, and after rinsing, my skin felt very clean, refreshed, and free of buildup. I use it about once a week to avoid over-drying. After using it consistently, I’ve noticed my skin looks smoother, and my makeup applies more evenly and looks more uniform. Pros: deep cleaning, leaves skin feeling fresh, improves makeup application Cons: can be messy to apply and remove Overall, I think this is a great option for oily or acne-prone skin if you’re looking for a weekly deep-cleaning treatment. I would definitely purchase it again.

This is the best ive used for my skin so far, and theres no need to look elsewhere. I added some dried rose petals that was from an order consisting of spa products from morocco. And ive been using it once a week instead of twice, its that effective! First I use a scrub on my face, then a good steam over the boiling teapot, blot lightly and put this mixed with water straight on. There was a time that I didn't get up to rinse after 15-20 minutes, and it got a little painful for me, but that was totally my fault. I felt the tightening happening, and saw my eyebrows lifted and pulled closer together-so funny! And the pulsating sensation that it claims to give and the other reviewers mentioned is actually your pulse beat! Yea it pulls that hard on your pores and skin! I could see the oil pooling up like little grease spots on my nose, it pulled it all outta there. And since i had scrubed and steamed first, my nose and chin and forehead were completely blackhead free after my first use! My nose had always had small blackheads in it, with only a prescription "aquaius based" benzoyl peroxide ever getting rid of them, which I wont use anymore, its too drying. My face was in a sort of sunburned state after rinsing, both in appearance and how it stung a little. But that went away just fine later on and dont let that stop you from trying it, its totally worth it! I wish Id known about this when I was in high school!...And my skin is the softest its ever going to get when im done with my mask, just be sure to moisturize with something, I use cocoa butter, olive oil from the kitchen, shea butter, rose hip oil, whatever is on hand. If you dont have anything around, even vaseline might work, because you're going to be dry and tight. I dont have bumps or "pimples" but I definitely think this mud mask will help clear it up, and I plan to recommend it to anyone who asks, even guys. Using a mask or caring for your face is not a girl thing to do, its a skin thing...if that makes any sense...Even if it were to pull up more sebum, or create a few more oncoming pimples, I will say for sure that with proper use (following directions), or even taking the steps I did, that it will clear up your skin. Im older, and I notice a huge difference with the softness of my skin, its not coarse or dry anymore and my child-like rosy glow is back! My makeup goes on better, my lines around my eyes are barely there, and my pores are smaller,....oh! and I dont have as much oil round my nose as before I used this. So Id say it really does everything it claims to, and all those positive things other people are saying. I bought a 2 pound container and Im pretty sure even with regular use it will last me years. I use one spoonful in a cup with only enough water to make it a thick mask, then the mask itself is in between thick and heavy and light..it doesnt matter if its too thin, its going to work! I let it dry till I cant take the pulsating -heartbeat-in-my-face feeling, and rinse with cool water. Love this!

I am not too impressed with the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. I am not sure that it does a good job with deep pore cleaning. From the first use, I did not notice any significant difference in my skin's clarity and texture. It does leave my skin feeling smooth, but it does not feel nice on the skin. I think it's supposed to hydrate and moisturize my face, but again I didn't really feel a difference. It's easy to mix with water, but the results leave much to be desired. It also smells just like what it is, clay, so it feels kinda icky. My skin does not look lighter and feel tighter after every use, but your mileage may vary. If you're looking for a powerful and affordable way to detoxify your skin and minimize pores, you can give this clay mask a try.

Amazing as always I use this for my hair and my face and it always leaves my hair squeaky clean and my skin soft and glowy. I always noticed that it pulls up blackheads as well which is pretty amazing.

I started using Borax 20 Mule Team with Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay in a warm bath as part of my quiet self-care time, and I’ve really come to enjoy this little routine. I usually soak for about 20 minutes, and when I get out I just feel calm, refreshed, and like I gave myself a moment to reset. I like that both products are simple, unscented, and affordable, without a lot of extra ingredients. They’ve become an easy, peaceful part of taking care of myself during busy days. Everyone’s experience can be different, but this combination has felt really nice for me, and I’d definitely buy both again.

From now on ill just get this at Walmart. It came covered in the mineral clay. I had to take my shirt off and rinse and spend a good bit of time cleaning my counter. Whoever packages these or whatever robots do it.. be mindful. Otherwise the product itself is a 10/10. NEVER USE METAL utensils to mix but otherwise equal parts clay to water or ACV and its a phenomenal mask for your face or detox mask for your armpits. Once every 3 weeks. Also, great for bug bites! Used it on deer fly bites and they healed so quickly.

I used this to soak 5 year old autistic boys feet. I didn’t think he would at the beginning but he did and I notice we had some really calm days after and he slept well. Going to do another foot soak today. Amazingly his speech is better and he is counting and telling us colours. Not sure if it’s a coincidence but I’m impressed

I have been using this clay mask for years now and have never had any problems using it. My skin is a bit oily and the pores in my forehead and nose tend to make white/black dots. Every time I apply my mask (once a week), I immediately notice the beneficial effects it has on my skin. The face becomes silky and free of all impurities. WARNING This mask gives you a real deep cleansing! As indicated on the packaging, you will literally feel your face pulsating! This feeling is felt about 10 minutes after applying the mask! It tingles, it tugs, it acts! Don't worry, this feeling is completely normal! That said, as soon as you feel this "pulse", remember to remove your mask or your face will turn red. This redness normally disappears within 30 minutes of removing the mask. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1) I mix the clay powder with cider vinegar in equal parts (1:1). 2) I apply the mixture on my face with a make-up brush avoiding the mouth and eye contour. 3) I leave the mask on for 15 minutes (or until I feel it "pulsating"), then I remove it with a warm wet washcloth. 4) As this mask is a bit drying to the skin, I apply a serum and moisturizing cream after use. ================= Français ================= J'utilise ce masque d'argile depuis des années maintenant et je n'ai jamais eu de problème à l'utiliser. I bought this clay to make my own natural remineralizing toothpaste and also to use as a face mask. I bought the 2Lb version as it was better value than the 1Lb and it arrived packaged well with the clay was nicely filled up to the top. :) I think it's wasted packaging when you buy something that arrives in a big container only to find that there's a lot of 'air space'. First of all, it should be noted that this is CALCIUM BENTONITE clay, not SODIUM BENTONITE. Some other companies sell "Bentonite Clay" but on closer inspection, you'll realise it's sodium, not calcium. A lot of people may not realise this but it's important because it's the calcium version that has the healing and curative powers and can be safely consumed, hence used in toothpaste. This worked great! As a face mask when mixed with apple cider vinegar, you can definitely feel the tightening powers as it hardens and my skin was clearer, smoother and more toned after. Amazing. It also feels so good using only two ingredients with no preservatives. You don't need to use too much though- if I put on a very thick mask, it's pretty difficult to get off! In terms of the toothpaste, I think I need to find another recipe as my toothpaste tends to harden due to the cold but I want to stress that that's due to the coconut oil, not this clay. I feel really good using this clay to brush my teeth and have been doing it for a few months. I chose to use clay over baking soda as IMHO, it's less harsh and clay is very good at drawing out toxins in general. Sensitivity has overall decreased and my teeth feels clean and overall stronger and healthier. I can't think of any negatives except that it costs cheaper to get in America but that's besides the point. If you're wondering whether you should get it or not, it has worked perfectly for my needs and I highly recommend it!! And a container this big is gonna last me ages! :)

Its a good product, it is going to last for years and it is an amazing mask

This is my first time trying clay masks. (I started getting into skincare over the CoVID lockdowns.) I have experimented with this a lot and come to realize that it might be slightly too irritating for my sensitive skin. At least, I need to only leave it on for no longer than 10 minutes. I'll be honest, that at first, I was leaving it on for a very long time: 30, or even 45 minutes. This was too long, which i realized but I was "gung ho" or something. (Reckless!) I would try to stick to the maximum intended time of 15 minutes if you are just starting out with this. I think the long time does dry out the skin and I don't think that was ultimately healthy for my sensitive combination skin. Maybe it would be OK if I just put it on my t-zone. Anyways, what I find this really great for is for hair masks! mixing with apple cider vinegar, I put this on my hair and leave it for about an hour, then rinse out with cool water. It leaves my hair clean and extremely soft. This is especially useful for anyone looking to transition toward "No Shampoo," because I have been able to use it once every 1-2 weeks and my hair has been very clean and actually in the best condition it's ever been in, in my life. This clay is a very helpful product for bridging the transition toward no shampoo.
