I own this boxing stand more than 15 years and still is like new. You can hang a tank on it or a few tons. It a super sturdy and super durable. That is exactly what was looking for. It’s not cheap but worth of every penny. It’s more than useful to me. Just looking at it it’s like Zen meditation to me. It holds every kick or punch fantastic and does not vibrates all your house.

I saved my pennies for this heavy bag stand as I wanted something quality and made in the USA. It is very well constructed and easy to put together. I hang a 100# bag and it is very stable when working the bag, although the base tends to creep to one side by about 3 inches (I probably work on side of the bag more than the other) and I simply slide it back into position. It does not rock at all when I'm working out, which is great. There are anchor holes in the stand for securing it to the floor which I might consider in the future to keep it from creeping. All in all I'm very happy with it and it's great having a reliable secure stand.

After spending a lot of time and effort buying and returning several lesser quality stands, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased the Balazs UBS. Let me say, there is no comparision to any other floor stand on the market. This stand is bullet proof and could lift a car. Extremely well constructed and with an excellent surface finish, this stand performs well and will last a lifetime. It does not move when the bag is hit and because is so heavy there is minimal noise compared to other stands when struck. If you want a quality stand that will function flawlessly and survive a nuclear war, this is the stand for you.

Got this 140lb bag for my birthday and finally had time to put the stand together! It’s a sturdy and solid stand…highly recommend!! And customer service was great!!

I have tried a couple of the cheaper stands and even a wall hanger, which was a nightmare. Unfortunately, with boxing bag stands, you get what you pay for. But that went away when I bought the Balaz. This is a top quality product, you can tell immediately out of the box. As one previous reviewer said, you can hang a car from this:) I highly recommend if you struggle with the cheap, wobbly stands that bounce all over the place or the wall hangars that fall from the wall.

I bought one of these more than 20 years ago- and there is nothing else like it on the market. It's super-sturdy- unlike every other stand on the market it needs no anchoring and will NOT wobble. And there's enough room between the bag and the stand to allow you to actually stand BETWEEN the bag and stand and pound away from the inside. In 2005 I had to move apartments from the basement to upstairs and I had to give up my Balasz stand. I almost wish I had just found another basement apartment so I could keep it (it would have made too much noise for downstairs neighbors.) Someday I'll be in a place where I can get another and definitely will. Yes, it's more expensive than other bag stands- but the moment you see it, you'll know why. It is worth every penny.EDIT: Finally found one on Facebook Marketplace, worth the 4-hour round trip drive! This is the Cadillac of heavy bag stands!
