Stylish and well made
Overall: Very comfortable for outdoor recreation and around towning.Pros: Beautiful, stylish, pseudo-suede. Construction and materials appear high quality. Vibram soles are super grippy, especially on rocks. Great for trail hiking, adventuring around rivers and slot canyons, and light climbing.Cons: Not enough support for trail running or substantial pack loads. Couple of "hot spots" on sole between midsole and toebox where you can really feel what is underfoot (sole seems thinner in those couple of specific places).Neither here nor there: Shoe is same width from back to front and relatively narrow to medium, so the toebox is fairly narrow, though the heel keeps you in place and the midfoot can be adjusted easily with the laces. Also, the laces are extremely long - almost getting in the way. Last but not least, these run big - I reliably take a US men's size 13 in Nike, Adidas, and Keen, but these were at least one size too big, so recommend you order one size smaller than your usual size.

This is my second pair
I had bought and worn a pair of these for several months and liked them so much i became afraid they’d go out of production. So i bought another pair. They’re comfy as only lace-to-toe shoes can be. They’re stable and grippy. The one problem is getting them on. Loosening all those laces is a pain. So i determined a comfortable compromise fit, leave them laced up, and use a shoe horn to get them over my heels. Try the shoe horn bit on these yourself. Then they’re like slippers except you need the shoe horn. They’re good looking too and in spit of the fact i wear them almost all the time, they show no signs of wear.

Great quality, fit, and feel
I was looking for a trail shoe that is waterproof and doesn't look like an ugly over-designed blingy basketball shoe when I saw the Asolo Space GV. Really like the clean old-school all-leather look. Since I don't have particularly large feet for my height the extended lacing doesn't look too clownish on me. (This might not be the case for everyone, as they do look quite long.) Most importantly they seem extremely well made and are very comfortable on my foot. I often run between a 10.5 and 11 and the 10.5 is great — no toe jamming or crowding in the toe box. The shoes are much lighter than they look and they feel light on the foot, but also very solid and stable. I saw one review that said the soles are thin and that you feel every rock under foot. I don't get that sense at all. Of course, they are shoes, not hiking boots, but they have a surprisingly rugged and protective feel, but very light and also a nice glove like fit, at least for me. Been wearing them regularly for several months and still love them. I will be ordering another pair soon, to keep on hand, before they get discontinued. My only caveat is the laces are a bit too long and get caught on things easily. I eventually trimmed off a couple inches and melted the ends to prevent fraying.

My new favorite hiking shoe.
Wry comfortable right out of the box. The laces all the way to the toe allow you to customize the fit. Lug sole has good traction for hiking. Good quality construction, expect to enjoy these shoes for quite a while.

It looks like a football.
The contrasting materials draws attention to the lacing. Once laced up, and you look down it looks like a football. To me this is a little too distracting for a shoe.

Asolo comes through again.
This is my 5th pair of Asolo hiking shoes over 30 years. Always comfortable, durable; makes walking a real pleasure.

Good shoe after breaking it in.
I had to wear two pairs of socks for a while before these were broke in. But now they are great.
