Works great to connect Kreg track saw tracks (ACS430) tracks
Like many others who use the Kreg track saw system, I noticed the genuine Kreg guide rail connectors (ACS445) are almost impossible to find and also unreasonably pricey. After reading lots of reviews I saw a few had verified these Powertec guide rail connectors actually work well with Kreg even though it's not mentioned in the product description. After receiving these, I am also able to verify they work great to connect two Kreg ACS430 guide tracks for considerably less than the Kreg version.

Great bag
Very well made bag with a thoughtful design. I can get two 55” Makita tracks in without any issue. Highly recommend.

They work but screws are lost quickly
It works but I wish these products would come with a little bit more thought out into the details. The little screws are lost quickly if not tightened against something. I lost the original screws so fast I had to buy replacements within a few months. Each screw should have threat tightening paste on it to make the screws stay in their housing better.

Really bad adhesion, do not waste your time
This is the second time I bought this because I thought I did something wrong the first time. The problem with this strip is that adhesive double sided tape they use peels off the strip after a couple hours. The double sided tape itself sticks to the track really well, its the other side thats the problem. I think this happens because the strip comes really tightly rolled and it wants to curl back into that position. Maybe try unrolling it and rolling it the other way before fixing it. Or maybe just buy a better strip for your saw.

For me, the best splinter strip
I have used the powertec 55 inch rails, and the makita 39 inch rails. The Makita stips became useless very quickly. I initially purchased more makita splinter tape, which was equally disappointing. The tape on my powertec rails was doing quite well, so I thought I would try their splinter tape. It appears to be of much higher quality, easily applied, and holds up very well. This is your best choice for splinter tape in my opinion. I have not tried the festool version yet, but the cost of this is also an incentive.

Self aligned.
I like that you tighten the screws. It centers itself in the slot. And they are a lot cheaper than Festools.

Poor adhesion
The material seems to be pretty slick and tough. The problem is that the material is pretty slick. The double sided tape provided was a champ and stuck to my track wonderfully. However, the tape did not stick to this. I came back to find it peeled away from the tape. I have used ca glue multiple times to get it to adhere but if I'm too rough it'll pull away again.

Great value
The Dewalt rail connectors were back order. Got these instead. Much less expensive and you get 2 vs 1 with Dewalt. Work perfectly.

Excelente producto

Perfect fit
Work to join to shorter branded tracks together for much lower cost of branded connectors.
