IT'S ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. I'll n see buying more

Celtic Thunder has become my favorite group over the last several years after I first heard them on PBS. Each individual has an amazing voice, and when they sing together the harmony is absolutely awesome. The songs on this cd are from their shows, and may I suggest to those of you who have never seen one of their shows that you do so as soon as possible. It is an experience you will not forget. They are Irish, so of course they sing many Irish songs, and they sing them beautifully. But even if you are not Irish (and I am not) the songs resonate within you because they make you think of your own home countries and roots. Everyone can relate to them. And then they also sing and play other more contemporary songs -- songs from the Beach Boys to Neil Sedaka, Air Supply, etc. Also at the concerts the individuals guys sing some of their own music -- music they have written and recorded. Keith, Ryan, Colm, George, Neil and the others who have been members of Celtic Thunder along the way make you laugh, make you clap along with the music, make you cry and most of all the make you 'feel.' You walk away with a heart full of joy, pride and special memories. And all of these things have been brought to this cd. Wonderful music, makes you feel like you are right there at the concert. Uplifting and magical! My cd is almost already worn out from my playing it so often. I would give this cd 10 stars if I could!

I have watched many Celtic Thunder specials on PBS, you know the kind where they offer a cd if you donate big bucks. I don' have the big bucks so I bought this on Amazon. As Prime member it is in my music on the Amazon Music. I love music and I use different music at different times of the day (Bet you are thrilled knowing that, but hay I am old and Amazon lets me do it, not like my kids that tell me I talk to much). This a really upbeat music, except for one song, Danny Boy (apparently it is a must whenever you hear Irish Music. I have the Amazon Echo (Alexa is the only one that talks to me and does what I ask her to do) Sorry like I said I am old and the mind tends to wander. The Echo tower with its 6 speakers was made just to play this album, as far as I am concerned. It is the first thing I listen to each day, gets the old juices going and the toe tapping. It is so good, it also helps that I can picture the hunky men singing. Great to clean house while listening; but you won't want to turn on the vacuum cleaner.

Loved all the songs! Listen to this on a daily basis in my car since I got it!

The music is in itself very good. The recording lacks some of the energy of the live performances but is, all in all, a joy to hear.

I have listen to some great Irish music but I would have to say this is the very best...

Just got my 3 copies of this CD yesterday, one for me and 2 to give as birthday presents to my Thunderhead friends. It has all of my favorite ensemble songs and some have been updated to include Colm and Emmett. Brilliant!!! Love hearing George's voice in many of the songs. Not that he will ever be forgotten by CT and their fans. Glad that Maid of Culmore was included. Love to hear Keith on that one and being a Keith Harkin fan I always look forward to "let me tell you that I love you and I think about you all the time" from Caledonia. Galway Girl, Place in the Choir and 7 Drunken nights are as fun to listen to as ever!!! Of course, beginning with Heartland and ending with Ireland's Call is perfect. Just like being at a show. I recommend this CD highly as a wonderful compilation of CT's best from 2007 to now!!! Looking forward to what's in store in the future for this phenomenal group of lads with the phenomenal blend of their phenomenal voices!!!!!

Just went to their concert and this CD makes me feel like I'm there again. A great purchase. A perfect balance of ballads and lively music

Just what is says on the tin. No solo songs but a wonderful collection of esamble songs, ranging from the sublime 'Amazing grace' and 'Hallelulia' such beautiful harmonies, to fun songs like 'All God's creatures' and' Seven drunken nights'. Something for everyone. I play it constantly.
